We recently spent a couple of nights at the Richmond House and really enjoyed ourselves. The location in Lancaster County is great - in the quite downtown area of New Holland and close to everything you'd want to see while visiting the Pennsylvania Amish Country.
Tim and Dolores have a lovely and well maintained home and certainly make you feel comfortable. The room was very nice, and the only thing that made us get out of the super comfortable bed was the smell of fresh brewed coffee in the morning! Breakfast was fantastic - Dolores is a wonderful cook and Tim keeps the guests engaged while serving the meal. Be aware however, that while you may be able to make other arrangements (the hosts seemed like they would be flexible), breakfast is served at 8:30, you dine with the other guests, and no menu option is offered. We didn't mind, but if you are looking for more flexibility around this type of thing be sure to talk to Tim or Dolores when you make reservations or check in.
We have family in the area that we were visiting, and we would definitely look to stay at the Richmond House again. Thank you Tim and Dolores for a great stay.More
