We just returned from a three night stay at the Inn at Bowman's Hill, relaxed, refreshed and content. The Inn is simply lovely with magnificent grounds with plenty of places to tuck away and read, watch the wildlife, or just wander. We stayed in Penthouse Suite which was well appointed, huge and had a nice balcony which we used often. The bed was very comfortable too... A must for a good night's sleep. Little touches like water bottles, snacks and even chocolate covered strawberries made it special. The jetted tub is a special treat complete with a starlight feature you just have to see to believe.

Ahhh, the breakfast. The soufflé omelet is spectacular as were the full English Breakfast, waffles and pancakes. Each day offers a specialty item as well as the regular menu. In truth, I think they would have accommodated just about any request on or off the menu. We skipped lunch in favor of having a little cheese and crack snack (provided by the Inn) each day because we were so full from breakfast!

The Innkeepers and staff were friendly and offered ideas for activities, particularly enjoying the nature that encompasses the area. They had a great knack of being there when we needed them, but otherwise giving us space to be alone.

New Hope, PA and Lambertville, NJ just across the river have fantastic and varied galleries for art, a nice local theatre, and a terrific selection of restaurants not to mention biking trails, parkland and river activities.

The Inn is an ideal option for reclaiming some peace and reacquainting with you spouse. We hope to return and see the beauty in another season! We had a perfect stay!

My wife and I spent Saturday night in the Penthouse Suite at the Inn. We were looking to get away for a night after losing a dear, close friend during the week. This is exactly what we needed...spectacular grounds, a serene setting, impeccably appointed rooms, and the nicest, friendliest owner and staff you will ever meet. Michael (the owner), Louisa (host) and Anastasio (the chef, groundsman, and caretaker) will treat you like family and will ensure all your needs are met and surpassed. We were greeted upon arrival at our car, provided an informative tour of the grounds and the Inn and then shown to room, where Louisa took the time to provide all the details about the suite needed for our stay. Nothing has been overlooked. The his/her steam shower, lighted mural of the galaxy over the tub, separate sitting room, tasteful lighting, the most comfortable King bed are just a few treats awaiting Penthouse Suite guests. Our stay ended with an absolutely fabulous breakfast, and we were invited to enjoy the grounds after we checked out. These are just a few reasons the Inn has been awarded a 4 Diamond rating by AAA 6 years runnibg. Our only regret is we could only stay one night..

left for a 1 night getaway from the jersey shore . we found Bowmans Inn on trip advisor . there was an internet special and we jumped on it. what a find. the Inn is like being in tuscanny (never been) . The innkeeper is from Cornwall UK , Really nice fellow. The 5 acre grounds are magical. Pool, pond, pear orchords, . The breakfast was great and the Bowmans resturant down the road was great ! Our room had a jacuzzi and a private garden terrace. Only 8 rooms. JUST GO !

Room Tip: only 8 rooms all good

My husband and I spent a lovely extended weekend at the Inn. The staff was fabulous, very warm & welcoming. The grounds are well manicured and peaceful. We were greeted upon arrival at our car and shown around. The pool is beautiful and we spent half a day just lounging around. We stayed in the English Manor Suite and it was fantastic. The luxurious shower with it's many jets for two. The jumbo recliners for relaxing, the fantastic bed all made for an very enjoyable weekend. The Breakfast was beyond words. The quality of the food and the service was great!!! Hope to get a chance to get back soon.
