We decided to try out this campsite for the weekend and found it to be a nice place to stay. The campground is clean and maintained. And the staff and owners are very friendly.
We tried the organized game of bingo at night, but it became very loud with unsupervised children. We will not participate in that again unless the kids have to be supervised.
There is a small creek that runs through the property which was nice and serene. There was also a hiking trail and roads to bike ride.
Overall, it is a nice place to get away for a weekend.

We wanted to stay in the camp ground tent area but a bad rain storm was coming through. we asked if they had a cabin and they told us they had a cabin. This was a great cabin, staff was friendly. Cabin was OK for cabins. We would stay again.

This is our first KOA camping experience. We arrived just before 7pm, but had a cheerful welcome. We were given the BEST possible sit to meet our needs. Mature trees are just budding all around us and we have a panoramic view of the charming bubbling creek that runs through the campground. A covered bridge takes you across the creek to the lodge where there is a camp store, clean bathrooms and tiled showers, and activity areas. Although there was a large boy scout group camping nearby, nighttime was perfectly quiet and peaceful. We had an absolutely wonderful experience here and we have already scheduled our next stay! The scenery and atmosphere is amazing. But the nicest part is the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff.

I love coming here! Great for getting away from the city. Cabins are clean, bathrooms are clean people are friendly. It is an alcohol free campground which makes it not roudy like other koa campgrounds we have been too. Wish they would add another adult size pool it gets crowded sometimes in the summer. Hay rides for the kids is great and gameroom is nice for a retreat when its raining. Location is great very accessible to everything!

Nice facilities. An older KOA, but well maintained. Clean restrooms. Delivered firewood & helped us back-in after hours. Staff friendly. Kids enjoyed the playgrounds, gem hunting in the stream, & 9-hole miniature golf course. If you're a "noise freak", there seemed to be a shooting range nearby, because there was the sound of guns - target shooting - that was not limited to the day, but also into the night. Of course, the owners of the KOA have nothing to do with this, but it would be annoying to those who crave 100% peace & quiet. Personally, we turned on the A/C in the camper & didn't hear it unless we were outside. There was an occasional smell of a backed up sewer line, not sure whose camper that was, but it was only intermittent. All in all it was a nice stay - those were the only negatives - and they weren't that big of a deal. As a family with small kids, we particularly liked their policy of NO ALCOHOL ON PREMISES. (Thanks!)

Stayed for three days and two nights, staff was very friendly and helpful. Campgrounds kept very clean, bathroom and shower area kept clean. The camp ground is very kid friendly and there are many things to do for the whole family. Overall this is a nice place to relax and enjoy with your family while getting away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Room Tip: Get the cabins just in case it rains you stay dry

We have stayed in a few KOAs, but none like this. I was aware before coming about the no alcohol rule, but they have MANY others pertaining to fires, noise, outside lights, etc. Despite all that, we were gone most of both days to Dorney Park that we didn't break any rules...I hope. When you drive in you MUST park on the wrong side of the road to register, weird. You don't see the sign until it's almost too late to get over with a 35' TT. The other weird part is that when you leave, the dumping station is located in almost the most narrow part of the exit road so if someone is dumping you may not be able to get by them. I was leaving in my truck to go to Dorney Park and someone was dumping and I barely got around him in my truck. If I had my TT then I would have been stuck until he was done.

The road to get to the campground is currently under construction and also has some pretty narrow spots in it so if you plan to arrive early while others are leaving it could be difficult to get around.

Again, despite all this my kids and our friend's kids had a good time in the nice creek on the campground when we were there. I had no problems with the staff as others did, but we didn't break any rules. The bathrooms were clean and large and the sites were fine.

Room Tip: We were on site 61 I think. If you have a camper that sits low to the ground already, then this site...
