“Love the Ice Cream”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 August 2014 via mobile

First of all, I miss when Goodnoe had the diner section because the food wasn't bad. Their ice cream is amazing though and it is still worth the trip up to get some. They have plenty of yummy flavors and toppings to enhance your ice cream experience.

“Not like it used to be”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 July 2014

We went here yesterday because I hadn't been in a really long time and remembered the ice cream being amazing. Well, it was good...the portion was tiny for the price, though($15.12 for 2 two-scoop sundaes). This little shop could use a deep cleaning, floors & walls were dirty, all the chairs were ripped. And, the rap music was more for the two girls working there not the customers. Other than that, there is plenty of parking, it was air conditioned, the selection was good and I would like to try a few other flavors they offered. Also, they had their ice cream packed to take-home in a freezer ready to go.

“Great homemade ice cream!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 April 2014

This was a Newtown/Bucks County staple until the Goodnoe family closed up their restaurant in the early 2000s. When they re-opened the ice cream shop in 2005 my husband forced me to make regular pilgrimages here. It's not super fancy but it is super good. The ice cream is very good on its own, simple coffee and vanilla are rich, creamy with good texture and strong flavor. You get some classic flavors like swiss chocolate almond, rum raisin, cherry vanilla with some really decadent ones. The peanut butter ripple has literally a RIPPLE of smooth peanut delight through it. They do have seasonal offerings but if you are looking for avocado/lavender/chocolate elderflower, please go elsewhere. There is limited seating indoors, outside on a good summer night there are throngs of people happily eating their generous cups or cones on the numerous benches around the shop. We love coming here for a week-night splurge or picking up a pint/gallon to go.

“Super standard choices”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 February 2014 via mobile

I would say that this place has the smallest selection of ice cream flavours compared to other cafés in the area, but what they do is very good. Their scoops are bigger than elsewhere we tried too. If you really feel like ice cream, then Goodnoe's will not disappoint.

“I miss the diner, but always glad for a scoop of heaven”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 December 2013

I grew up going to the Goodnoes diner after concerts, recitals, softball games, and family visits. I miss the friendly staff when you walk in, seeing the huge lemon meringue pies in the case, and the free pencils when you leave after your amazing meal.

Even though Goodnoes isn't around anymore, when I want that feeling of comfort or nostalgia I run straight to Goodnoe Farm Dairy Bar. Still the best ice cream in town and they have their epic sundaes I remember so well growing up. Plus they have their take out case so you can bring any flavor home to enjoy!

Not only do they have amazing ice cream, they have wonderful customer service. They even helped to donate to my sister's Mother's Day 5K Race for Christina last spring.

I love you Goodnoes!!
