We camped with our family & two of our friends with their families. We couldn't wait to get there. We heard such good reviews. However, it had just rained when we got there & the place was a muddy mess. We stayed Fri - Tues. By Sunday, the mud was dried up. The weather for the rest of our stay was hot & humid. And considering the place is called Splash Magic, you would assume we could get relief from the heat in their pool. The water was green & cloudy and there were lots of hair & bandaids floating around. We saw chemicals being added to the pool; however no one ever skimmed or swept it out while we were there.
The sites are small and close to one another and as posted in an earlier review, the main bath does smell like sewage.
On a positive note, the staff was wonderful. The ice cream at the snack bar was good. Everything was reasonably priced.
