We visited the tasting room in town not expecting much. Boy , were we wrong!! They have a fabulous selection of wines that are organic with no sulfites and little to no added sugar. The staff is welcoming and a lot of fun. Nick and Paul are hysterical- but definitely know their wine and have great recommendations for local eateries. It s a relaxed atmosphere and we enjoyed sitting in the garden out back. We ended up going all three days we were in town and purchasing several bottles of wine! The troika and blueberry were our favorites.

The people are really nice, but the ambiance just isn't there. We were there as part of the Mason-Dixon wine tour. Some of the employees seemed knowledgeable about the wines, but others seemed like they were just there to help out. Don't make this your last stop.

I'm new to drinking wine and my husband saw an advertisement for the Tour De Tanks on PennLive, so we decided to take in some of the wineries very near to us in the Cumberland Valley and we happened upon this winery after seeing it on the list of wineries who participated in the tour. Let me just say that anyone who thinks these people are rude must be in another world. These people went out of their way to talk to us about their various wines and not only did they have plenty to taste but they were very generous in their portions and would allow you to taste as many as you wanted. Since we had a ticket for the tour de tanks we were able to sample their food they had out and I must say of the three local wineries, they had THE best spread of food. We will be back with my son and his girlfriend. We hope to see you next year during the tour with a new tasting room!

We did not go to the Tasting Room in Gettysburg but to the actual location of the winery. After tasting at Adams County and Hauser, we were pleasantly surprised by the taste and quality of the wine at Reid's They do small batches with a minimum of chemical additives. We met the winemaker's sister and wife while tasting a variety of wines, both were very knowlegeable and friendly. Yes, there is a small fee for the tasting but at Reid's it's worth the price! (I can't say the same for the other two we visited)
