My wife and I noticed a sign for this winery as we were leaving the Apple Blossom Festival in Biglerville and we decided to take a chance on a visit. One great idea that really paid off. We like to visit wineries and have recently visited several in Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Virginia. We enjoy tasting the different varieties of wine from these small local wineries. We very much favor the dry wines, both reds and whites. Reid's did not have much of a selection in whites, but their reds were awesome. A good variety of wines and the prices were very reasonable and well below some of their competitors. The personnel at the tasting room were extremely friendly and we learned a llot about the area and their wines. The winery is surrrounded by several apple orchards and the apple blossoms were in full bloom - a beautiful sight! We ended up purchasing a half-case when we usually end up buying only a bottle or two. Highly recommended if you are in the area. I hope we can return someday.

This was our last stop of the three wineries in the Gettysburg area. The wines are more to the dry side. There was a nice view outdoors. The tasting area left a little to be desired but all the chairs outside were nice with a view of the mountains. Not a bad place to stop and taste but I enjoyed the other two wineries a little more. The bathrooms were porta-potties which are not the most desireable.

We visited the tasting room in town not expecting much. Boy , were we wrong!! They have a fabulous selection of wines that are organic with no sulfites and little to no added sugar. The staff is welcoming and a lot of fun. Nick and Paul are hysterical- but definitely know their wine and have great recommendations for local eateries. It s a relaxed atmosphere and we enjoyed sitting in the garden out back. We ended up going all three days we were in town and purchasing several bottles of wine! The troika and blueberry were our favorites.

The people are really nice, but the ambiance just isn't there. We were there as part of the Mason-Dixon wine tour. Some of the employees seemed knowledgeable about the wines, but others seemed like they were just there to help out. Don't make this your last stop.

I'm new to drinking wine and my husband saw an advertisement for the Tour De Tanks on PennLive, so we decided to take in some of the wineries very near to us in the Cumberland Valley and we happened upon this winery after seeing it on the list of wineries who participated in the tour. Let me just say that anyone who thinks these people are rude must be in another world. These people went out of their way to talk to us about their various wines and not only did they have plenty to taste but they were very generous in their portions and would allow you to taste as many as you wanted. Since we had a ticket for the tour de tanks we were able to sample their food they had out and I must say of the three local wineries, they had THE best spread of food. We will be back with my son and his girlfriend. We hope to see you next year during the tour with a new tasting room!
