The Cecil County Supper Club visited the "Muse Restaurant & Café" in Oxford, Pa. this past Thursday (7/25/13) as part of our monthly review of the area restaurants. PROS: Excellent service, atmosphere and cuisine. CONS: Very limited menu (five entre' on the menu) no chicken and they were out of the "Steak", however the special was "Beef Ribs" which were absolutely tender and done to perfection! As is our practice, each guest sampled an individual entre'. The Salmon, Crab Cakes, Eggplant and Rib Special were all prepared just right - fantastic. No complaints from anyone, "kudos" to the chef. Our waitress "Angelina" was excellent and provided those little things (sorbet, delicious fresh bread with olive oil and a pleasant demeanor) that made the limited menu unimportant. None of us could pass up the "Peach Cobbler w/vanilla ice cream" - excellent! The "Muse" is a BYOB establishment. We brought both red and white wine which complemented this dinner just right. We definitely recommend the "Muse" when traveling through the Oxford area.
