Two nights spent here in the heart of Amish Country in Pennsylvania. Was pretty much a luck dip on my behalf on what property I chose to stay at. A total winner on my behalf as I could not have asked for anything more. The service was fantastic, but in an area like this it is the advice and recommendations you rely on to make the most of your holiday. Thanks Barbie.
Was a smallish room compared to the hotels I had been used to, but spent such little time in my room it made little difference. Was great to have a self service laundry on site to catch up with the domestics.
Would highly recommend this property. Suggest if you want to make the most of your stay, head down to the Mennonite visitors centre and hire a navigator for a few hours. You won't be disappointed and you'll see parts of Amish Country not on the tourist trap.
Finally, Barbie managed to get me a dinner with a true Amish Family. 36 days coast to coast in USA and this was one of my most memorable encounters. A total education, and I've got to say, the best meal I had on the whole trip.
