Beautiful Setting and a Comfortable, Cozy Room! Wonderful Host & Hostess, could not ask for more! One of the best parts was sitting outside and watching the Horses and Buggies go by!!! Such a Treat! Fabulous Breakfasts also!!! This was our first visit and it sure won't be our last! We loved our room "The Forge"!!! Very relaxing; very peaceful! Also centrally located; close to the trains (Model & Full-sized), and close to shopping of all sorts! We highly recommend Frogtown Acres to anyone wanting a lovely stay in Lancaster!

Room Tip: Check out the On-Line Site, nice pictures of the rooms (even better in person!)

We wandered into Intercourse P.A. looking for somewhere relaxing and friendly after weeks of motel stays, And just down the road was Paradise .At Frogtown Acres the 4 of us Australians were greeted by our amazingly friendly host Gloria holding a toy Koala with the Aussie Flag. Not only was Gloria one of the nicest people we have met but the accommodation was awesome. Disappointing Joe was away fishing as people we spoke to .around town say he is a real character. We are in the U.S.for 6 weeks and doubt if we will find a friendlier/homelier place to stay.with a finer home cooked breakfast than what we enjoyed. Jeff, Alison, George & Annette

We have never been to B&B quite like this and we must say it was the best !!!!! We didn't want to leave. The room was very relaxing and clean. The evening was great because there were no mosquitoes. Don't know how Joe got rid of them but we wished he would have given us his secret, being from Jersey !!!!!!!! The breakfast was great , not only the food, but also meeting the other guests. We all had a common interest which made it a lot of fun. Joe was a terrific host and made us feel like family. I tried to count all the frogs and finally gave up. There are a lot !!!! We can"t wait till we can get away again to relax there. Just hope there is an available room. We stayed in the Balcony Room and it was great.

Room Tip: All the rooms are beautiful.

Prejudice I am, but just read the other reviews. Joe and Gloria have redefined what a world-class B&B should be. Immaculate rooms, superbly appointed and spotlessly clean. A breakfast without equal served family style with lots of wonderful camaraderie encouraged by the veteran hosts. Forget that this area is an attraction in itself, this B&B is a destination specific place to stay. If only Joe could fish!!!

I've been coming to Frogtown on and off for the past 12 years or so. Joe and Gloria, the owners are the best. Joe's sense of humor keeps the place going and when he can't come up with something funny to say, usually Gloria chimes in. The rooms are spectacular and the breakfasts are also spectacular. Both Joe and Gloria are great hosts and I look forward to returning soon.

Room Tip: ALL of the rooms are great but I particularly like the Fireplace room

In addition to my wife and I, there were 3 couples and a single. We were the only people who hadn't stayed there before. In fact all of the others had stayed there multiple times. That alone should be a positive review. Joe and Gloria were great hosts, and if there ever was a person who perfectly fit their vocation, it was Joe. They introduced us around to the other guests, plus the Amish neighbor who dropped by. Joe also gave us some great recommendations on where to go. The breakfast was fantastic, and even had items that fit the guests. We are from Georgia, and they had grits, and a couple was from Canada, and they had a Canadian dish as well. The only thing that was not perfect was that it took us a little time to get the heat regulated in our room, but that was minor, and only lasted the first night. If all you want is a bed, and you will be out early every day, and don't want to interact with others, go to a hotel. But if you want possibly the best bed and breakfast you have ever experienced, then try Frogtown Acres

Room Tip: We stayed in the Alcove Room, which was partially below ground. The heating system is a floor syste...

Frogtown Acres has a very warm and homey atmosphere. The rooms very decorated with very quaint Amish décor: quilts, wall hangings and fireplaces. The inn keeper, Joe, is the friendliest person you could meet. He's also the funniest. The ample breakfast was delicious and we meet two Amish neighbors who were delightful to talk to. The scenery was also fantastic if your interested in the Amish. Across the street was an Amish farmer plowing his field with 6 white horses. All evening we heard the clip clop of the Amish buggies going up and down the road. We also saw how the Amish women and children get around on their scooters.(Used with your leg not a motor) It was a very enjoyable visit.

Room Tip: All rooms are excellent
