“Super place to stay in area”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 November 2013

Centrally located, with courteous, professional service and nice rooms; a good place to stay in area. Good hot breakfast, plenty of restaurants close by. Right off highway; good values for the money. We visited in order to visit King of Prussia Mall which is only about 10 minutes away from hotel.

My stay this past week was inferior to numerous stays with Hampton Inns around the US. First negative was the list of local restaurants was limited to national franchise type venues and pizza shops. When I asked for a recommendation to a local favorite, three employees said they were unfamiliar with local options. Next, I was assigned a room that had already been given to another guest. When I opened the door: there was a wet towel on the bed, the TV was one and the bed had been slept in. I left and went down to the front desk and was assigned a new room. The desk person barely apologized and offered no compensation for the embarrassing situation. My last complaint is that there were no slip strips in the bath tub and the tub was very slick. I did not fall, but I bet people fall here regularly. On a positive note, the guy running the food station was very friendly and kept the food options clean, attractive and inviting.

We were able to visit Valley Forge national park. Thank goodness Congress got their act together and opened all the national places. We also went into Philadelphia and visit there. Best of all we had Philly cheese steak at Pats. We were happy to be staying away from the high traffic areas. We also were able to visit Skippack, a delightfully little town.

Nice, clean, comfortable hotel priced reasonably. Hampton Inn beds are number one for comfort! Location was good with a Bob Evans conveniently located right next door. Very pretty area although a bit far from shopping, but near to PA 422.

I've stayed at the Oaks a couple times for business and will certainly use this hotel again if I'm in the area. Great service all around. Definitely recommend the Oaks for business and for personal stays.

Stayed overnight in a suite with our two children. Yvonne at the reception desk was extremely helpful in finding us a buffet in the area to eat! Bed was comfortable and clean. All the staff were wonderful. We chose to eat at Bob Evans but the little one had to make his own waffle in the lobby and he was smiling all day. The only complaint - the T.V. listing they give you is not accurate. I could only get 4 channels in the bedroom and two were spanish. Didnt bother to call down as we were not spending alot of time in the room. That and the signs in the elevator that show two kids "fighting clean" on the bed - oh it took us an hour to explain to them that its NOT ok to pillow fight in the motel room.

I had to go to PA for homecoming and knew I would not be getting home after the days festivities. I got in late and the staff was still cheery and welcoming. I actually won the guest of the day prize. Everything was clean, price was good, and breakfast was decent. Overall, I was pleaseed.
