Took a class there and we saw a variety of birds and wildlife. We felt like we were interfering with their daily routine and tried to keep 26 kids quiet. Not an easy task!

Wear hiking boots, a bird book of N America and binoculars. Take the Nature Trails. You can find maps and, in needed, can take a guided tour. I like to go on my own. If you are very quite, you may lucky enough to see a red fox. I wasn't, but will keep trying!

Great spot to rock climb, Great spot to fish, and an excellent place to hike. We've hiked here many times and always manage to find a deer trail that takes you off the beaten path. Very seldom do we run into another person even after several hours of walking.

Is close to home and has a ringing rock attraction, another close to home adventure to go in the summer or fall. Very clean and well maintained.
