The staff was very welcoming and knew the neighborhood and surrounding area very well. The room was spacious and comfortable. The historic nature and documented renovation of the hotel was very interesting. A wonderful place to stay.

My wife, father-in-law, and I had a grand time at the Priory. We relaxed in the sitting room (both by ourselves, as well as having a nice chat with some other guests). The staff is dynamite! They helped with dinner suggestions, gave us an informative and friendly tour of the Great Hall; kept his banana cream birthday pie cold in their refridgerator; and most importantly, climbed through the window when my father-in-law accidentally locked himself out of his room. That guy was a prince.
The Priory is reminiscent of a lovely small European hotel, with good updates in the bathrooms, which we appreciated. It's a place with character and the staff to support it.

We were in town to relax and visit museums and found the Priory a perfect place to stay. It is not an ordinary hotel at all. Since it is converted monastery it does not have the typical sterile hotel look. I loved that the Priory was not on the main strip with lots of traffic and noise. Each room is uniquely decorated, comfortable, and quiet. The staff was very helpful and the continental breakfast was generous and delicious. Parking was free and easy. There were a handful of local restaurants close by. I definitely plan on returning.

The Priory Hotel is an amazing find, tucked away in Pittsburgh's Northside. It reminded me of the quaint hotels of England - with the most friendly staff and amazing story. High ceilings and beautiful decor only adds to the mystique of this great hotel.

"Wine Time" was so nice; being able to meet and interact with patrons and staff was inviting, not like the big-as-business cookie cutter hotels. There is an aura about this place that is unmatched. We will stay here again and again.

Not sure how this lovely hotel get by the American With Disabilities Act. There is no ramped entrance, only steps and the three guess floors have no elevators. No problem for us, but could be for some! This is a lovely historic inn and the staff were excellent.
