Definitely worth a visit if you are in town. The stained glass is beautiful and we were lucky enough to hear one of the student's practicing on the pipe organ. Wow, what a sound! Just waiting for the Angels to show up :)

Another tribute to the wealth and architectural splendor of early 20th Century Pittsburgh. Beautiful.

Located in the Oakland section of Pittsburgh, this chapel provides an intimate atmosphere for the romantics at heart. Great place for family and friends to gather and excellent spaces for that special wedding photo shoot. Accessable by car or bus, parking available in nearby garages or lots.

Heinz Chapel on the campus of PITT is a must see on your campus tour. The windows are stunning! Check out the website for detailed info and history of the building. www.heinzchapel.pitt.edu
There is no admittance fee to the chapel. If you are visiting Carnegie Mellon it is right across the street and shares the lawn with the famous Cathedral of Learning.

THis perfect replica of Sacre Coeur in Paris will lift your spirits with it windows, which are both beautiful and an intellectually pleasing tribute to American women and men. If you have time to just stay and sit a while, it is built to such a human scale it will calm even the busiest soul.
