A note huge museum, so if you are limited by time, you can do a quick once over and then concentrate on your likes. I enjoyed the French Impressionist art and the period furniture. Worth a cab ride from downtown. The building itself is amazing. Make the effort to visit this wonderful museum. The café is good, too.

Fine art and dinosaurs. Two of our favorites. This museum offered a wonderful collection of great paintings and sculpture over a several thousand year span. We spent most of the time in the art section. We only had about an hour remaining before we needed to leave. When we walked into the natural history/dinosaur area, I told my wife that we needed to come back. Aside from the bones, the presentations and lab required much more time to do the place justice. We also did not have time to see the Carnegie International exhibition of modern art. Hopefully, we will see more of this museum when we return to the area.

We're used to museums in NYC and this one exceeded our expectations. We liked the combination of art, contemporary and traditional. The guards were informative and helpful.
