The area is nice. Plenty of restaurants, mostly chains. The mall is only good for trinketts. Had a pedicure at the Euro salon, friendly people, did a good job. Wrode the incline up, be prepared with exact change..... $3.50 roundtrip, I had to scramble around town to find change for a $20, nice view from the top and actually the town at the top was quaint, restaurants, pubs and ice cream.

Our hotel said that Station Square was a good place to shop for some souvenirs during trip to Pittsburgh to catch some Pirate games
There was a good amount of dining options from Joes Crab Shack to The Hard Rock Cafe to Buca di Beppo asnd many more, however we felt the shopping options were extremely limited. There were numerous empty stores inside the shopping mall area. It would appear that if the square wasn't the home of the duck boat ride and Segway tour, that the only things left would be the restaurants.
The dancing fountains to rock music classics were entertaining, like a mini Las Vegas Bellagio show

We walked around Station Square until our Just Ducky tour started. The dancing water was very fun to watch and to have the kids run through the water. The area is filled with fun shops and restaurants.

Station Square has dining, shopping, and entertainment! There is parking for a fee on site. Something for everyone here including the Monongahela Incline.

Visited with family. There are several restaurants on site but other than Hard Rock, none of them were very busy at lunch time and all were overpriced. Several souvenir shops inside the main station but again, nothing real special and not real busy. One saving fact is the incline is located across the street that takes you up to Mount Washington where you can have great views of the city below. Excellent photo opportunities.
