Good Price, were able to tour the sub upon opening with no other people. Planetarium was a nice experience, but seating was very tight!!!! Great Hamburgers and Fries in the food court, although we had to wait for them to open. Saw robots and trains tons to see and do, ramps and elevators available.

“One for the kids!”
Reviewed 3 December 2013

We took our nephews to the Carnegie Science Center and they had a lot of fun. The museum is certainly built around and designed for children - there's a lot of hands on games, noise making machines etc. While there are some things for adults, it's more hands on for the young ones so it lost my interest pretty quickly. Regardless the model railroad is amazing and very well built.

It actually seems a little on the small size although you could still spend a go couple of hours there, perhaps because I have recent memories of the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago which is huge and has enough things to entertain adults and child alike so the Carnegie Science Center was a bit of a let down especially for the price alongside $5 charge for parking.

“Great day!”

Educational and entertaining for the entire family. They have a lovely train display and the planetarium is really cool too. They even have a retired submarine you can climb on board. Exhibits change so it is always exciting.

“A Day Of Learning Adventures”
Reviewed 1 December 2013 via mobile

Leave Yourself A Full Day In Order To See And Experience It All. Two Buildings Of Learning Fun, There's Amazing Experiences For Everyone. If Your Going With A Child Under Six Be Sure To Bring A Change Of Clothes Just In Case They Soak Themselves In The Hands On Water Experience, A Hand Dryer Is Provided But Our Youngest Really Enjoyed The Hands On Experience. If You've Always Wanted The Astronaut Experience, Enjoyed The World Of Robots, Or Just Wanted To Know How It Feels To be In An Earthquake I Recommend The Carnegie Science Center While You're In The Burgh.
