Students seem genuinely happy to be there. Great campus. Lots of green space and newly modernized squares/meeting places. Terrific location!

Came to visit one of my friends who studies here, and this place seemed wonderful. Such incredible architecture and design that has gone into this place. One of my favorite places in Pitt.

This is an unusual university. Take time to walk around, see the various structures and get a feeling for the history. From the unique dormitory to the cathedral there is really no other university like it. Great strides in computer science and computing knowledge have been and continue to be made here and at Carnegie Mellon.

A major sky scraping building that I always wanted to visit. The architecture is incredible. You will never see this work be recreated.

One of the best university in USA, the environment is peace full , mix of different culture, people and color make this place unique. The university and neighborhood is full of old architecture must be over 100 yrs old and some newly built high rises gives it right blend of heritage and new age. Overall a nice place to be of its own repute.

Move in day arrived for my daughter and University of Pittsburgh did not disappoint .
They have a complete stress free system, mapped out where to park, assigned a helper to get you registered, and up to our floor.
Activities for all students to meet dorm members and new incoming students—- social activities, clubs, trips for forgotten shopping, where to go for classes, cafeteria, washing and all things we take for granted.
As we left our daughter was sad, had not met anyone just her room mate, by the next day she could not stop talking about friends and what they all had in common.
Police and campus security was present and helpful. Large welcome from the Chancellor and such a warm friendly caring message to all at the start of their college life.
Great Experience.

Anytime I am in the City with a 'new-bee' I always take them to see campus. I especially enjoy visiting Heinz Chapel and reminiscing. There are many great sights in the Oakland area of Pittsburgh-walk around and check it out. Also, reserve time to see the Nationality Rooms in the Cathedral of Learning-there is nothing like it anywhere. Don't leave campus without a Permanti's Sandwich or crepe cakes at Pamela's!

University of Pittsburgh is worth exploring even if you aren't looking to attend the school. The architecture is interesting and the parks on campus are worth the stroll. The Carnegie museums are close by. If you are a baseball fan do not miss the remains of Forbes Field's center field wall. It's an amazing piece of baseball history.

Do not go there for treatment. I went there for a year and a half to fix all of my teeth. 2k later I had to have everything re-done. Inferior materials used. Craftmanship horrid. It takes three times as long to have any proceedure done. Multiple visits. All for nothing. Prices are not low. Better to spend a bit more to get care from an experienced dentist.
