Amazing location if you're going to a baseball game or just visiting in general. Literally right across the street to the stadium. Several restaurants within one block as well. Straight shot walking across the bridge to downtown shopping and restaurants. Hotel was spacious, quiet, clean and comfortable. Seemed very new. Parking costs extra so be aware. Breakfast was very good. Best hotel coffee we have found.

Loved the location right across from PNC park. It was very clean and staff was friendly. The breakfast were really good and lots of healthy choices. We parked and never had to drive all weekend. Very easy to walk everywhere.

The best thing about this hotel is the location, which is directly across the street from PNC Park. The common areas and our room were very clean. Breakfast was included in the room rate and is pretty standard...scrambled eggs, breads, oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, etc. The staff kept all of the food items well stocked, even as the breakfast area got crowded. I would recommend trying to go early to avoid crowds, though. Room decor was a bit dated, but bed was comfortable. I liked that there were a bunch of pillows on my bed. The layout of the room was not the most ideal for sharing a room when one of the party likes to sleep in...the bathroom and separate sink are right next to the beds. The shower drain also backed up, leaving me to shower in several inches of water to my ankles. Towels were a little worn, as well. Overall, I would consider staying here again if attending a game and if I could find a good rate.

Want to thank you for mentioning just how hard our staff works to keep our upscale breakfast buffet stocked and fresh for all guest no matter how busy it gets. Springhill Suites North Shore completed its new renovations two years ago and is currently replacing all bath towels with new product for a soft drying experience. The front desk staff is always available to inform our maintenance team of any in room issues such as a clogged drain. We appreciate and rely on your feedback and hope to have you with us again.

We stay here every time we go to a Pirates game. We love this place. Rooms were spacious. Breakfast was great! Loved the fresh strawberries! Did not use the pool this time - we were only there for a short stay. Pool appeared busy though. We usually get a room on the upper floors. We had a great view of PNC park! Staff was very friendly and check in was quick.

Room Tip: Request an upper floor facing the parking lot. Great view of PNC park!

Along with the previously reviewed Residence Inn North Shore, this is a great place to stay when in town if you plan on catching a Pirates game. This hotel is directly across the street from the left field entrance and allows you to avoid all the hassle that comes with going to a ballpark. There is a great restaurant on site and several others within walking distance.
