“Late Night Dining on Shiloh Street”
Reviewed 25 June 2013

After riding to the top of the Monongahela Incline one evening to enjoy the nighttime landscape, we strolled down Shiloh Street and happened upon Redbeard's. On a warm summer night, ask for a table on the patio! It's a great place to sit outside and the kitchen is still open late evening. The waitress was friendly, prompt and easy going. We had wings, fries and beer...all to our liking. I definitely recommend Redbeard's!

“Rest stop on walking tour”
Reviewed 22 May 2013

A great stop for a drink and something to eat when you're exploring Pittsburgh after visiting Mount Washington and going up and down the inclines. Great service and good food.

“Basic sports bar food”
Reviewed 12 April 2013

Redbeard's isn't great, it's just, well average. The menu has the usual array of sports bar food. It has a limited array of mostly mega-brewery beers on tap, and, when we were there, a small, harried wait staff that tried their best to keep up with the number of diners.

The key benefit of Redbeard's is that it's convenient to the incline. So, you can stroll a few yards after exiting, snap a few pics, grab a lunch, and head back down. Simple, easy, basic.

“ride up the incline and eat”
Reviewed 10 April 2013

small place just a block from the top of the incline. perogies, wings and stuffed bell peppers. Food wasn't bad but I probably wouldn't make a trip up just for it again.
