Centered right at Point State Park, walking distance to PNC and Heinz Park. Hotel offers free shuttle with a 3 mile distance, they will drop you off and hand you a card with the number to call when you are ready to be picked up. We took the shuttle to the incline and to The strip....we walked back to the hotel from The strip, it was just over a mile but nice to walk through the city. Penn Ave is a straight shot to everything. Hotel was ok, quick check in, room clean and presentable. Bathroom had shampoo, conditioner, body gel and I believe a shower cap. Abundance of towels. Bed was comfortable, we eneded up with a 2 queen room and there were 4 pillows on each which was great! Oddest thing is that the tv would only go so loud, it was just loud enough to hear but i didn't complain as we didn't watch too much tv. Pool was great! Hot tub was HOT! Great view from the pool room and from what i seen the workout area had more than i expected in a hotel. We parked in the garage around the corner on Fort Duquesne Blvd, it was only $18/day. Free wifi in the rooms. Not the strongest signal but worked fine.

I was supposed to stay at the Wyndham for a business conference, but never got a chance to because they overbooked and made a reservation at the Sheraton. I was informed on the day I was traveling. Thank God I checked my e-mail that day, otherwise I would have never known. This is poor form!

We can assure you we make every effort to accommodate each of our guests' reservations, and if for some reason that is hindered, we will make sure that an alternative is provided as well as transportation. In lieu of you being notified when you actually arrived at the property, we did want to give you some advance notice. Stayed with my parents to celebrate a 50th wedding anniversary. The room smelled like a sewer! Moldy, Mildew. The Bill's were in town so I guess they were the ones who received the BEST! The bathroom was so small! The top sheet had a coffee stain! Couldn't change the room they were "booked" fully! I won't recommend staying there to anyone who asks me! The only joy was our service lady the Saturday morning. She was pleasant noticed my mother wasn't feeling to great and went beyond the call of duty to assist. That being said we gave HER a nice tip and asked if she had to share it. Hopefully she kept it for herself. Management needs to visit EVERY ROOM and inhale! THUMBS DOWN!!!!

Room Tip: go to another hotel!

We recently spent a night here. It was the location for an event we attended. We arrived at 5:30 PM on a Saturday & were told our room was not yet ready due to several late check-outs. The event was beginning at 7 PM & we needed to shower. I was disappointed. The manager came over & gave us a coupon for 2 cocktails. The room was ready in under 10 minutes. We were given a suite on the 23rd floor. It had a nice view & was very clean. The event food was very good as well.

Room Tip: I always enjoy the highest floor possible to take in the views.

The check service is friendly and efficient. The valet parking seems a little expensive ($30.00/night) but I don't do city overnights often, so maybe this is par for the course.

Lobby and initial appearance is nice. The room was cozy but not as clean as I would have expected, especially the bathroom. Hair and toilet stains readily visible...yuck! I stayed for a football game at Heinz Field. This hotel is a great location for that if you like to walk a little. Nice .8 mile walk across the bridge with access to a couple nice restaurants (Tilted Kilt and Jerome Bettis' restaurant - both decent stops).

Beds are really soft....which is good if you like soft beds. Woke up with a sore back and neck. AC unit wasn't as effective as I'd like. Like to sleep in cool room, it struggled to keep it at 68. Looks like they may have repaired the thermostat recently as the wall paper around it appeared to be cut and replaced and was partially hanging off the wall. Also, not a quiet place.

Would I stay here again? For a game, probably, due to convenience. For as nice as the place appears when you first walk in, I think they could do better in the rooms.

For the price I expected better quality in the room - I've stayed in better Holiday Inns. It wasn't terrible, It was clean and well-appointed, but not as good as I expected. However, the bathroom was the worst design I've ever seen - don't expect privacy if you're going with a group! It had sliding doors with frosted panes, which, when closed, still had a gap. The shower had a glass pane over half the opening and no door over the other half (so again no privacy) - meaning you had to get into the shower and under the water to turn it on. Water from the shower splashed on the floor, and there was no fan. The tv in the room was about the size of my computer monitor, and for some reason was set to analog? We didn't even bother watching it. Fixtures, like door handles, were poorly attached, wallpaper was peeling. I will say that the bed was very comfortable though. Also, beware, parking is valet and $30 a night, added to your bill. They claim the garages nearby are all $20 a night, so we opted to go for convenience, but I guess we are not used to the cost of city living! We stayed here for a wedding in town, and the whole family had similar comments. Good location, but just be aware of what you're getting (especially if privacy is a concern in the bathroom)!

We will share your concern about the bathroom design when we are making plans for our next rooms renovation. The Buffalo Bills where in town they got the VIP treatment and all most all the elevators were reserved just for them. All other guests in the hotel had to wait upwards of 10 minutes just to catch an elevator. I understand wanting to make the Buffalo Bills happy I don't understand choosing to disappoint everyone else
