The place does not seem like much from the outside. Two floors with the bar and eating area on the top floor and the main restaurant downstairs. You want to enter from the side door and eat downstairs because it is less noisy. The food is traditional Western Pennsylvania Italian. The restaurant has an excellent steak sandwich. I would also recommend the sausage pasta and the Goo's pizza special if you like spicy food. The drawbacks to the restaurant are the fact that it accepts only cash which can cause you to scurry to the nearest ATM and you only get one refill for your drinks but they do provide you with a large glass. I spoke to the owner once who said they give unlimited refills on tea but the staff continues to limit the tea to one refill as well. The food is very good to excellent and is a regular eating place when we visit in Pennsylvania. They will take reservations if you have a large group.
