Our family of 4 adults and 5 teens had a great time. The house was clean, the hot tub was clean. There were several places to hide if you want some peace and quiet or just to separate the adult conversation from the kids. The big dining room/kitchen table was perfect. It was comfortable and cozy enough to sit around and played cards, board games and ate dinner as a family. The deck was nice to escape to after dinner, then a walk down to the lake for the sunset. We drove to the smaller lake next to Arrowhead to get a better view. (Still in the same community though). There were boats and kayaks to rent which very inexpensive. The pool was great as well. While a few people were swimming or boating, others were playing horseshoes. (This was all in the same area) One night the community hosted a bon fire and had some food and a DJ. We went white water wrafting which was fun and then paintball at Skirmish the next day, while the ladies of course found a winery about 25 minutes away. We all sat around the fire pit one night playing games and devouring s'mores. While my wife was at yoga I was able to play a little basketball which was right by the lake. We spent one day on the beach. There was a playground, picnic tables and a small grill. We just packed a cooler, brought some chairs, splashed around in the water for a bit and played cards. Wish we had a blow up boat or some tubes to float around in though. Loved that nothing was ever CROWDED like we run into at the beach. The community was quiet but friendly. The house was perfect for our size family. I would definitely consider it again if we choose to go back to the Poconos.
