“Not one of their better "k"nights”
Reviewed 2 August 2014

Met friends for dinner at the Knights Pub. We sat at the bar to wait for our table. Our friends arrived 15 minutes before us. The bartenders would not make eye contact or wait on them until they asked they actually yelled at them. The same occurred when we arrived. The bartenders would take the waitresses' orders, or a manager (at least we thought he was one because he had a different shirt on) or any of the patrons who needed refills. They would not wait on new arrivals. When we finally got their attention we got - we're too busy tonight. Yes the place was full, but not as busy as we've seen it on other occasions.

We did not have a long wait for a table - about 25 minutes total. Unfortunately, our waitress must have been new because she didn't have a clue. Appetizers and entrees were brought to the wrong people, clearly empty dishes sitting at the edge of the table were not cleared after placing the entrees, she didn't come back and ask if we needed anything.

We had asked for split checks for our two couples and were told it would not be a problem. We received one check - that did explain why things were served too the wrong people - she had randomly assigned items to various people. None of us had listed exactly what we ordered. The guys decided it would be too much effort to try to have the bill corrected, so they simply split the bill.

The food was good - the Champagne Scallop Soup was creamy and bisque-like. The hummus sampler was ok. Entrees ordered were the Steak and Potato Tower, Grilled Salmon with Lobster Cream Sauce, Shrimp with Angel Hair Pasta & Spinach, and Pan Seared Salmon with Cabbage & Fennel. All were decent, except the Shrimp with Angel Hair Pasta. It just had an unidentifiable off taste.

We will give them another try, Hopefully we will have better service.

“Stokesay castle - place with vibe in the middle of forest”
Reviewed 23 July 2014

this is a beautiful areal consistent of dancing room, bar/restaurant open space with windows that can be open straigh into the garden and outside gas campfire that can accomodate easily 10 people sitting around it. Very nice live music, beer in you own huge tube so that you pour yourself a beer, and romantic and quite vibe when sitting by the fire. Great experience!

“Great for drinks and late night atmosphere”
Reviewed 22 July 2014

Love coming here for late night drinks and sitting outside by the fire. Very casual and refined atmosphere, great for conversations and relaxing. Wish they had a bigger fire pit area, but both of the inside bar locations are very nice as well. The staff is excellent, quick, friendly, but also gives you space.

“Knights Pub”
Reviewed 13 July 2014 via mobile

Went to Knight's Pub tonight. Love the atmosphere but menu doesn't have a lot of entree selections. Lots of pastas. Salads are extra. Not included in the price. Prices high for small amount of food. I had duck fettuccine Alfredo. Duck was over done. Olives were in this. Bit into a pit. Long wait for our food. Husband ordered soup and salad with his entree. Both came out at same time. Will probably go back next summer once mostly for the atmosphere.

“Nice Place - Great Food”
Reviewed 25 June 2014

We have been to Knight's Pub on two occasions recently and enjoyed it very much. The menu is pretty extensive, the food is very good and fresh and the atmosphere is great. Both times the weather was pleasant and the open air with the large open doors is very nice. The first time we dined there was a small crowd and the service was outstanding. Last Friday it was crowded and the service was good, but a little slower. The prices are reasonable enough for the quality and quantity. This is not a special occasion type of restaurant although it's certainly nicely appointed and we all enjoyed our meals and the ambiance a lot. We will go back again.
