“A nice weekend getaway”
Reviewed 2 May 2011

We had a wonderful site (site1) with only one camper on 1 side and a beautiful view on the other. The site was a good size for us. The kids loved fishing in the small fishing pond even though we are not sure there were any fish in there. The sound of the stream was really relaxing and we enjoyed watching all the buggies go by. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and no one was in the office. Our map was pinned to the door which was fine, but when we tried to check in the next day it said the office was closed. We tried several times before finally being able to get in. When we did check in the girl was very nice. When I made reservations I wanted a special that was listed on the website (2hour canoe rental, 2 night stay, and 2 ice cream cones). When we were there this wasn't even an option(the creek was high, but the canoes were not even there or even available) which was frustrating because the price we ended up paying was actually more than the special. The price we paid was the same you would pay in summer season weekend, so no price cuts for off season. Even so the campground was nice, just not positive we would stay again. Another nice thing for us was they allowed us a late check out because no one was coming in our site that day. We were headed to Sight and SOund and didn't want to take our camper, so that was a great help!

Room Tip: Get a stream side site, they are the best!

We stayed here several times during the summer of 2010. We had a wonderful time during each of our visits! The pool is awesome. Activities for the children and teens are great. Staff was very friendly and upbeat!

I was very disappointed that this campground chose to charge for a full campsite because we had a tent up with our extended family. It was an unexpected expense we had to absorb after we were told a different story we we made the reservations. We will not go back there because of their greediness!!

I love this campground. It is small and safe for the children. The pool is great! Al runs the activities and he is great with the kids. I would recommend this place to anyone. We camp here often and love it every time.

We went with two other families for a total of 8 youger kids(7-13) and 6 adults. The kids liked the fishing in the small creek and the little trout pond. They also liked the little store to buy candy. The REALLY liked bingo night (parents did too). Two families stayed in the cabins which were newer and very nice where everything worked except the a/c in one which they took care of within hours. Our friends with thier camper were right across from us on the creek which provided a relaxing spot with the fire and smores. The campground is respectable, quiet and clean. I personally perfer other places but I have been here twice and have never had a bad time. Third trip coming in Oct. 09'.

We stayed here last weekend with three other couples. campground was pretty nice sites were a little small and the ones in the parking lot are a little ridicuolous. But the staff was absolutely horrible!! the old lady doing the check in and check out was absolutely rotten!! Don't even think about asking for a late check out. we were told they do not do late checkouts. We where also told we needed to be out because of four people checking in and there was about 15 or so open lots!! i don't reccomend this place at all we will never go back

In my opinion, the campground seemed to be very nice. It was beautiful, but very small. We were there on a holiday weekend and up till the last night, we would have definatley recommended this campground to others. I guess that we just got too comfortable and let our guard down. As far as security, there is none. While there, we had, what we thought was a pretty serious issue on the last evening. The campground personel was informed of the issue and did nothing to act on it. Iwasn't until the following day after several families involved had already checked out, that the owner wanted to come and talk about it and wasn't able to get all of the facts. It seemed as if the owner was more concerned about keeping the n he had at this time was that the camgroud out of bad publicity rather than the safety of the campers.
