“Great food and service!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 April 2012

This is a restaurant that is managed and frequented by the 'locals'. Country atmosphere, with good country basic food selections and buffet. Less expensive than some of the larger restaurants in the area, but every bit as tasty.

“Good Service, Good Food!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 April 2012

This is an Amish Buffet Style restaurant, and the prices are very reasonable. You can order from a menu if you do not want to go through the buffet. They have a nice array of food choices. We have eaten here for both breakfast and lunch. The food is good; as well as, the service. It's homestyle country cooking, and not highly seasoned. It's a busy place, and at peak times you may have to wait to be seated. We would eat here again.

“Not my cup of tea”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 April 2012

ot sure what all the good reviews are about with this one. it is OK. Maybe I am not a buffet person but I was scared of this one. it looked dated and plain, but my family was like "oh come on you read good reviews.". So we went, but I was not impressed and wished I had gone somewhere else. if you are looking for cheap food and alot of it, buffet, and do not care about ambiance then you will enjoy. it was just not my cup of tea.

“Busy, busy place but worth the wait.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 April 2012

This is a great little inexpensive place to enjoy the Lancaster experience of the Amish buffet in contrast to the big ones like Miller's. It's hours are limited so you need to plan on having an early dinner. Their hours are 7 AM to 6PM daily, staying open until 8 PM on Friday and they are closed on Sunday. It's a family friendly diner atmospere. You can choose the all you can eat buffet ($10.25 - $11.50), which has more choices than you could ever need or you can order off the menu. We chose to order off the menu - I had the Thursday night special of all you can eat Chicken Pot Pie, very good, and my sister had the 1/4 Rotisserie Chicken dark meat with pickled beets and macaroni and cheese and declared it all delicious! They use the modern beeper service to contact you when your table is ready and it works even if you go next door to shop (of course!). The waitresses (some Mennonite or Amish, some not) are friendly and efficient. I ate here a few years ago with my family and I enjoyed it just as much this time around.
