My husband and I stayed May 6, 2013 at the Olde Amish Inn and had a very nice stay.
The room and beds and everything was fresh and clean, TV was good.
Had a Quiet night and good rest and sleep.
Price was right.
We will stay there again sometime.
Thanks for everything.

The room was excellent. The room clean and close to everything. No ice machine or drink machine. Customer service was great when we got there but later on, when we went to ask if they had a drink machine near by, the gentleman stated no, you'll have to go down the street in a harsh way. The second gentleman was not friendly at all. This gentleman could have been a little nicer, especially when they are spending their money there. A little kindness goes a long way.

Room Tip: Rooms on the south side are quieter

We spent two nights there the end of March 2013. The owner is friendly and nice. The rooms are big and clean The beds felt like I was at the Hampton Inn. However I paid only half the money as a big hotel. The room had a fridge and microwave. The flat screen tv is nice. The view of the Amish farm is located in the back of the Inn. I loved opening the curtain each morning and getting the sunshine. I would like to return and spend more days there. The showerhead was replaced.
We got a nice place to stay and it was half the price of a big hotel.
We left the villas at Fairway in the Poconos and decided to stay at this Inn instead. It was clean and no problems were encountered here. The beds are comfortable. I would recommed staying at this hotel.

Room Tip: I stayed in a room facing the Amish farm, the back of the Inn. The sun rises in the back todards th...

I am amazed how this DUMP calls itself an Amish Inn.

The place is filthy and run down with stained carpet and water spots on the ceiling.

The beds themselves are falling apart and soggy as sponges.

The management is lackluster, to put it mildly.

As a woman I was afraid to even sit on the toilet or go out for ice.

In short, the Old Amish Inn was so BAD that I left in the middle of the night and checked in La Quinta, which is right next door.

Avoid at all costs - in fact, avoid it even if they give it to you for free!!

Room Tip: Tip: There is NO good room at the Old Amish Inn.

Place is run down. Beds must have been since Washington first visited. Carpets old and dirty and full of stains.
If anyone else is sold out, do yourself a favor and drive a little longer in order to find a suitable place to stay.
The only good thing about Olde Amish Inn, there isn't one.

Came up for the PA RENN FAIRE but could not get a room at my usual place. This motel is right on the road and you can see a farm across the parking lot but it felt like we where actually in the parking lot for La Qunita Inn- a larger motel that shares the same driveway. The beds were comfy and the room was okay. It could have been cleaner-there was lots of dust etc in the drawers and bags from previous guests. Cobwebs in corners and the freezer had mold on the rubber seal; fridge was not cold enough-seemed to be a problematic combo. Flat screen TV was great, though! The front desk staff was very pleasant. All ready knew not to expect much for the breakfast so we ate in. Okay stay for a quick weekend.

Room Tip: rooms on the ground floor in the back are quieter

The hotel is outdated, but clean. Nothing fancy. We didn't notice much Amish. We were jet-lagged, coming from the West Coast, so the vacuum running at 9 am (6 am our time) down the hallway was rather annoying.
