There were 8 in our party and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. The clam chowder was back to being like it used to be. Service was good. Filets made just like we ordered. Dine thee every important occasion.

We dined here a few years ago, and the food and service were wonderful. Our recent "date night" was ruined by nasty sauce, over-cooked veal and sub-par service! We did not receive our drinks until 20 minutes after we were seated, and plunking a water pitcher on every table seems pretty generic for a "nicer" restaurant. The soups were very good, and the homemade ranch dressing was delicious - too bad the lettuce on the salad bar was not very nice and there were very few actual vegetables for the salads. Our entrees contained meat that was so over-cooked it looked (and cut) like shoe-leather. The cordon blue and ala summit entrees were completely covered in goop that tasted like cheap, packaged sauce. The goop was even worse when it coagulated upon contact with the cold serving plate. Not sure if we will ever go back.

Lovely restaurant nestled in the Blue Mts. that offers delicious food, generous servings, fantastic soup and salad bar, and homemade fresh bread that you slice yourself. Their "Pick Two" option is worth its price ($24.95). No room for dessert after you finish your meal. Staff are courteous and attentive. Reservations should be made. Takes some time for your dinner to be prepared but well worth the wait.

This place is likely the worst "nice" restaurant in Schuylkill County!!! Clearly, we should have heeded the warnings of other diners. I was absolutely appalled by the Delmonico steak that was served! Summit View's menu boasts "cut-to-order" steaks. Not only was the steak improperly cooked, but it looked like it was primarily carved from fat! Sadly, they attempted to mask their subpar steak with loads of mushrooms, onions, and mounds of some slop that resembled sauce. In general, the appearance of the restaurant is dated and dirty. And unfortunately, the work ethic seems to mirror the atmosphere. We witnessed several employees lounging/sitting around and eating in the entrance and bar areas, during dining hours. ...A beautiful view only goes so far! My recommendation, keep driving! For the amount of money we wasted on low-quality food, we could have saved it for a splurge at Ruth's Chris.

This restaurant is nothing to rave about. It's too bad because their location is very good with a nice view. The entrees are so-so and uninspiring. The menu looks appealing, but looks can be deceiving. For the same money you can get a better meal at most diners. But what is most confusing is that they're usually busy, especially on weekends. It appears that everyone knows everyone else who comes in. Go figure?
