Lots to choose from including a pretty generous salad bar. Your personal experience largely depends on your server. It is exactly what it appears to be -- diner food. Great for some, pathetic to others but you can't go to a diner and expect fine dining. You CAN expect a pretty great breakfast and they always have meatloaf and other daily specials.

This diner has it all, but I mostly stop in for breakfast. The breakfast skillet is really good, but my favorite is the cream chip beef in a homemade breadbowl, totally out of this world. If you see Dave the owner who basically lives there say hi.

My parents often suggest going here, but it is consistently awful. I have never had a good experience with the food. We even went just once for dessert and even that was awful. Who screws up pie and ice cream?!

I wouldn't recommend going out of your way to get here, but if you're hungry, in the neighborhood, and don't want to spend a lot of money, it might suit you. Everything is clearly bought in from sysco -- the 'homemade' soup, the canned gravy, the mystery meat 'roast pork', the silverware, the check. But the atmosphere is comfy, the staff is sweet and attentive. Clientele trends strongly toward the 60+ crowd.

I used to go there pretty regularly but the quality started to slip and I stopped going. I need to revisit to make a new evaluation
