love coming here, the place is serene, the staff cordial. We try to come every year. Hope to continue. Hope the pool gets warmer tho. I like the two for one night deal, it makes it that more worthwhile

Everything was good. Great location, great service, excellent food, perfect view from the restaurant terrace. Surprisingly fast wi-fi. Take a walk tour offered by office - nice man (his name is Mike if I am not mistaken) will show you pretty lake and trail about 2 miles, 1.5 hours walk. The only one thing I missed, if they have a sauna at the pool place. They have nice pool and Jacuzzi, and would be really nice to have a sauna at the same place. Other than that the rest is just perfect. Would recommend to everybody.

Room Tip: reserve rooms at the spa suites building. It is 2 years old and very nice. We reserve first room in...

The hostesses are most welcoming. They operate a wonderful facility, with great food, outstanding accommodations and activities with a magnificent view. Short trip from Long Island viat the Port Jefferson Ferry to Rte. 25 in Connecticut and on to Rte 84 straight into the Poconos.

Room Tip: Different types of rooms from which to choose, all clean and comfortable.

You wouldn't expect to find such a charming inn in the Poconos. The place was just perfect for a romantic weekend getaway. The staff was most accommodating, especially the service we received from Tara. She went above and beyond to make our stay very special. The views from the room were just spectacular and the room had sufficient amenities to really relax. The couples massage was just what we needed and enjoyed it thoroughly. I WOULD CERTAINLY RECOMMEND THE INN!!!

My daughter (26 years old) and I had a car trip planned from Iowa to the East Coast, and our last night's stop was at the French Manor. We wanted to treat ourselves and the inn exceeded our expectations. The grounds are beautiful, everything is well maintained, and the food is fantastic (although pricey -- dinner for two with wine was almost $200).
We each had a massage, and we agreed -- this was the BEST massage we've ever had. The only negative about the spa experience is that we were asked to change into our robes while other people were present in the dressing room. Awkward!! The pool was a little disappointing... water was too cold but the hot tub was enjoyable.
The terrace was so enjoyable -- great view for evening cocktails and morning breakfast.
This is definitely a remote location -- nothing close by so it's truly a getaway. Sherry waiting in your room upon arrival was definitely a nice touch!

Room Tip: The Venice room in the Manor house (2nd floor) is spacious and quiet, but a little dark because ther...

Our 35th anniversary called for a special location. High in the Poconos this gem resides. Oversized room with a balcony overlooking the mountaintops and whirlpool tub in the room. Service was impecable not just at breakfast and dinner, but they packed Saturday's lunch, and rescheduled our activities to fit our needs. We will be back.

This is the best B&B I've been to. The property is well maintained and the service is A+++.

We stayed at the Spa Suites, which is right above the pool and spa room. According to the front desk, the spa suites are newer.

We also had a couples massage which was fantastic! Massage skills weren't the best, but the service and the room accommodation made up for it.
