“Prefer the Blue.”
Reviewed 10 March 2013

I always enjoy playing the Penn State Courses. The Blue course is a better layout for walkers and is a better test for serious golfers. The White plays a few strokes easier, but also attracts more high handicappers, who sometimes frustrate me with their lack of golfing etiquette. Both courses are kept in good shape given the high numbers of players that use these facilities. The club house staff is always friendly and accommodating. Go on a weekday after 11:00 am and walk for the best value.

“Blue Course”
Reviewed 6 November 2012

Well kept course (so is White). Played there as a student and the course remains a great place to play. Some challenges but not too difficult for the weekend warrior.

“Hard to believe PSU is a world renowned TGM program!”
Reviewed 17 September 2012

The condition of the Bue golf course CONTINUES to be below expectations. It is ridiculous that PSU has a world class turf grass management program yet they continue to let this beautiful golf course go down hill. My back still hurts from riding on this course. The rough and fairways are AVERAGE at best. The Greens were in very good condition.

Staff is outstanding. If you are headed to PSU, play at Toftrees or another course in the area.
