The Barn at Strasburg
Ranked #3 of 4 Strasburg B&B and Inns
Reviewed 9 March 2014

The hosts were wonderfully hospitable people. The food was delicious. The B&B is immaculate. It was quiet and refreshing. We were on an anniversary trip to Lancaster. Sight and Sound is just minutes away. They have a sign which says "Enter as strangers, leave as friends"--it couldn't be more appropriate. Wonderful. Highly recommend.

Very comfortable and plush bedding, awesome hot tub, a FULL breakfast!!!

The decor is awesome! Lots of restraunts and shopping close by, why you really could stay for a week!

A coffee bar to help yourself all day........and so much more, this place is just the RAVE!!

Erin and Jeff at The Barn at Strasburg were a pleasure to work with and they have a beautiful B&B with very comfortable and clean rooms with great amenities. The Master Suite with Jacuzzi tub was an amazing room, but the personal connection and attention to details is what I appreciated the most about our stay. Modern rooms and extremely comfortable beds and pillows with a classic old barn feel. There are 3 total B&B Guest Rooms with a common kitchen area where coffee, drinks, and snacks are available 24/7. Erin makes a wonderful homemade breakfast with a variety of food options. I already recommended it to friends and family who are looking for a place to stay in the Lancaster/Strasburg area.

Room Tip: Master Suite was a spacious and modern room with Jacuzzi tub and large shower.

My husband surprised me for our 10-year Wedding Anniversary by taking me for a time away at The Barn at Strasburg. The trip was wonderful from the first phone call to book the trip until check-out. Erin and Jeff were extremely welcoming and kind. We stayed in the Master Suite and it was lovely. We enjoyed the decor and superb cleanliness, as well as the natural soaps and unbelievably soft sheets. We also enjoyed a very healthy and delicious breakfast as well as many snack options, teas and coffees. There was even a nice DVD selection. There was a variety of choices right down to the type of creamer and sweeteners we like to use. They thought of everything. My husband and I could not have picked a better place to spend our anniversary. The Barn at Strasburg comes with our highest recommendation. We will definitely stay there again!

Room Tip: We stayed in the Master Suite, which was on the main level and was the largest room. It was closest...

We like everyone else that has visited the barn found this B&B to be very clean, private, relaxing, very well decorated, and an overall great place to visit. Erin & Jeff really love what they do, and it shows in the hospitality and attention to detail that exudes when you visit the Barn.

From the home made cookies waiting for you in your room (heaven), to the conversations had during breakfast. You'll come into the barn as a stranger, but leave there feeling like you just gained some new friends.

The rooms were very clean, the sheets extra comfy, and the beds nice and soft. We intend on returning and are spreading the word to our friends and family about this gem in Strasburg. Thank you Erin & Jeff for a wonderful visit.

I researched all the B&Bs in Lancaster County before choosing the Barn. There are so many to choose from in this area. It was perfect for us. Erin and Jeff are warm and hospitable. The sign "Enter as Strangers-Leave as Friends" says it all. Our Garden Room was beautifully decorated and very clean. We had a large room with a living area with a leather pullout couch and satellite TV. The queen bed was so comfortable and luxurious. The large bathroom with the spacious shower and clawfoot tub was great too. I loved the luxurious sheets, the fluffy pillows, the homemade cookies when we arrived, and Olive Branch Botanical toiletries. It was spacious and quiet. We needed a place to find peace and rest and this was it. The location is minutes away from all the PA Dutch sights, especially Sight & Sound Theatre. Erin was able to get us discounted tickets 5th row center aisle. My husband and I loved Noah! The best part of our stay was the Gathering room. We could put our leftovers in the fridge, heat them up in the microwave, get complimentary drinks, coffee, or snacks, find tourist pamphlets for everything, grab a DVD, and have breakfast in the morning. Erin is a talented cook with delicious breakfast at 8:30. One morning it was French toast, sausage, and fresh fruit cup, juice, and coffee. Another day was a fruit tray with fruit dip, egg casserole, and homemade banana bread. The third day was cut up apples and bananas with caramel dip and breakfast burritos with many fillings to choose from. All the breakfasts are so filling and delicious. Erin ate with us and we enjoyed getting to know her and meeting the other guests. She made good suggestions and made us feel like we were at home. If you are looking for antiques and fireplaces, this is not it. If you are looking for a modern, beautifully decorated home that is very clean, private, peaceful and welcoming, book here. It was our best B&B stay yet. We hope to come back very soon. :)

In the spirit of full disclosure the inn keepers, Jeff and Erin, have been friends of ours for a long time. That said I think that have found their niche. The room was spotless. The food was wonderful. But what really makes it special was how graciously and lovingly all the guests were cared for. You can't stay there for any length of time without feeling that Jeff and Erin love what they do and care for every one who stays there. We have not had a better stay away from home and I hope to visit them again and again.

Room Tip: Master Suite is a wonderful place for relaxation
