We just spent a great weekend in Lancaster County and our visit was made even greater by the lodging at The Limestone Inn. The Inn is located right on Main Street in Strasburg and close to everything local. Strasburg itself remains it's small town charm without being overrun with all things tourist like some of the nearby towns yet has plenty to occupy some time. A couple of little locally owned shops, wonderful ice cream shop, great little coffee shop, German cookies - really neat stuff. There is even a small restaurant (The Iron Horse Inn) within easy walking that is an unknown secret. The B&B owners own this property as well!! The Limestone was built in 1786 and retains alot of the colonial charm. There are still a couple of fireplaces - now with gas that make the rooms warm and cozy. Sleeping rooms are very nice and some have antiques as well.
