History _Established in 2013_ Formerly Danny's Fettuccine Bar on 611, Chef Macrini took over the location from Cherry Valley Bistro and opened what is now Danny's Cucina at Cherry Valley. The idea is to combine the great food that Danny is known for and add some elbow room in the kitchen and the dining areas as well as a fully functional bar and additional parking. Danny Macrini, Executive Chef/Owner, was born in New York City, and has been in the restaurant business for over 30 years. He has worked for some of the largest and most successful corporate and independently owned restaurant companies in the country. His education began in the culinary field with his grandmother, Jean, and his mother Carolina, teaching him how to cook classic Italian cuisine at home from a very early age. After attending Adelphi University in its BFA program, Danny moved back into Manhattan and supported himself by bartending, waiting tables and, of course, cooking. He then moved to California with his childhood friend, Bobby Flay, restaurateur, and Food Network icon. Danny has also worked with such renowned restaurateurs and chef’s in his career, in addition to Bobby, as Shelly Fireman, Steven Singer and Howard Greenstone, to name a few. Danny has opened over 60 restaurants in his career for Dry Dock Restaurant Corp, The Cheesecake Factory, China Grill Management, Sfuzzi Inc, and his own personal ventures here in Pennsylvania, as Dominic’s Tuscan Grill in 2001, Danny’s Fettuccine Bar in 2010, and now Danny’s Cucina at Cherry Valley. Danny is pleased, and honored to be serving the community, not only his fine cuisine, but serving the community in any charitable way he can. Mangare Bene, and Salute!!!!!!!
