“The Best Yet!!!!!”
Reviewed 25 February 2008

My husband and I stayed here 3 years ago and it was nice, but now the new owners ROCK! They were so great and the B&B is cleaner than before! It was like staying with old friends and catching up!

The breakfasts were to die for - absolutely incredible! You will NOT leave hungry and Sharon is an awesome chef!

We had so much fun and really feel we made new friends - not just another Inn or B&B but friends that have a business. The owners are the BEST and anyone that stays will feel right at home! We can't wait to go back!!!!!

If you do not stay here.. you are missing out on the absolute BEST Bed and Breakfast, in the Poconos! Ric and Sharon are the best hosts, and the breakfast is beyond words. The rooms are so clean, beautiful and perfect! You are catered to, and made to feel like part of the family. Made new friends for a life time, along with memories, which will also last forever.

The Cranberry Manor is in a perfect location, and again, you will not be disappointed. We are already making plans for a return trip !!!

Yes, the website seems a bit dated and the price is somewhat expensive for a B&B...but do not worry, the place is beautiful and it will not disappoint! I have to tell you, this manor is geared towards couples, and it does a good job at that. The rooms are romantically decorated with each having their own televisions with dvd players, soaking bathtubs and gas fireplaces! Very roomy and comfortable and extremely clean. But that's only half of the good part. What was very impressive were the breakfasts! Don't expect some ordinary continental breakfast with bagels and eggs. No, this place serves everyone with caramel bananas, thick fluffy pancakes, and huge egg omelette's! Our hostess, Sharon, was a very kind and warm-hearted person. She served everyone like royalty in the fully furnished dining room, and she didn't spare to use the expensive dinnerware. She kept coming around to see if we wanted more coffee, cleared our plates for the next dish, and made excellent conversation. The dining room also has a full-sized pool table, snacks, microwave, drinks in the fridge. My wife and I stayed for two nights to get away from NYC and to snowboard at Camelback, and we were delightfully surprised to find ourselves relaxing and enjoying the Cranberry Manor more than snowboarding. We will definitely come back again! Please, do not be turned off by the price...you'll definitely get more than what you pay for. Also, the place is not difficult to find and is close to not only Camelback, but also to the Crossings Outlet mall.

  • Liked — Very cozy rooms with soaking bathtub & gas fire place, and also the restaurant style breakfasts
  • Disliked — Nothing.

Amazing stay! Ric and Sharon were great hosts and overall great people. My wife and I wanted to relax prior to the holiday traveling and we enjoyed a weekend that exceeded all our expectations. It is located in a great area close to all the shopping and also the new casino. We were recommended a great horseback riding experience which was exactly what my wife wanted. They made our stay a memorable one and we cannot wait to come up in the summer.

We had such a wonderful stay at the Cranberry Manor B&B during our recent fall getaway. The Inn sat atop a hill with a great overlooking view of the area. The room was beautifully decorated with a fireplace and large bathroom. We had the use of the butler pantry, that had some treats along with coffee and tea we could access anytime. The breakfast's were delicious in a dining room beautifully adorned.

The innkeepers, Ric and Sharon were friendly and accommodating and it was a real pleasure to spend time with them. They were very helpful with recommendations on places for dinner and local attractions providing directions, dining menus, and brochure information for the surrounding areas. We highly recommend this B&B. Our compliments and best wishes to Ric and Sharon.

We had such a good time we can't wait to plan another getaway to the Cranberry Manor B&B!!

My husband and I just returned from our stay at the Cranberry Manor Inn (September 28 - 30, 2007) our daughter Lisa is a freshman at E. Stroudsburg University our first stay in the area we stayed at the Shannon Inn it was a one time stay...horrible. After that experience I decided we needed to find somewhere we can count on for future visits...I need not to look any further! The Cranberry Manor Inn with the new owners Sharon and Ric Anderson is a wonderful find. The rooms were spotless and the bathrooms have deep soaking tubs so bring your bubblebath ladies it was great! The breakfast each morning was wonderful the table was set so great with china, etc. We truly enjoyed our stay we met new friends two other couples who were staying also we stayed up at night playing different card games. The area has many things to do it is close to Camelback Mountain, it is close to outlets, Micro-breweries, Vineyards, Bushkill Falls, so many things to do and yet if it is just relaxing you are looking for this would be the place...big wrap around porch and beautiful scenery! We are looking forward to our next visit! Sharon and Ric Anderson are wonderful hosts we can't thank them enough for making us feel so welcome! Bob and Deb Truhan

My husband and I had a great stay. The owners were wonderfully friendly and the rooms were well furnished and impeccably clean (I am a stickler for cleanliness). Breakfast was amazing and we are already planning our next stay. Nothing could have been done better!
