My dad really likes this place for some reason. It might be because he and my step-mom are in their eighties, no longer cook and get schmoozed from the staff. My family ate with them here to celebrate a late Father's day. We both got sick later in the evening with gastrointestinal distress of a very bad kind. This isn't the first time after eating here. The cleanliness of the food areas is a real question to me. The wok and sushi areas look as if they had not been wiped down in days. The soiled labels over the food kind of creeped me out as well. The wok station person dipping water out of an old open five gallon bucket, wearing what appeared to be the clothes he wore on a construction site earlier in the day....you can draw your own conclusions. My wife and I tried to stay to food that we thought was 'safe', but without success. As mentioned, this isn't the first time we have gotten sick after coming here. This issue is not the food but how clean it is. Yes, the food is abundant, in extensive variety and the service fast. I know, you're asking why I came and eat here with my concerns. My answer is that I would not if it weren't for my dad wanting to come here. I would prefer trying the Chow284 down the street, I could convince my folks. I just don't like getting the runs each time I come here. I think the King buffet in the Plymouth Meeting mall is far nicer and cleaner.
