If you are looking for somewhere to stop over before moving on or returning home - look no further! We are a family with teenage daughters and our room was spacious and spotlessly clean. The staff were friendly and polite starting with the shuttle driver. Breakfast was fantastic hot/cold choices. Sleep quality excellent - no airport noise. Highly recommend this hotel. Car rentals very handy - their shuttle will take you!

This is a nice hotel - not great, but definitely nice. The people working there are all nice and pleasant, sort of down home like. The young man who checked me in was.....very nice! The room I got was pretty big, and had a whirlpool within it. That was certainly unexpected, and...nice. I was impressed by the ceilings - they made the room seem almost like a two floor studio - quite high. Room was furnished well, although the white paint throughout definitely needed color - badly. Breakfast was so-so, would have preferred some breakfast potatoes, which were nonexistent. The best part of the hotel was the location - at least a dozen restaurants within a half mile, a sizable shopping center and many other venues that could keep one busy. The interesting part in the parking lot was the over abundance of Ford F150 type trucks - I understand there's a lot of fracking going on in the area, and housing is at a premium. So many of the workers stay at this property, truly proven out by the dozen+ trucks in the lot. All in all, a pleasant hotel. Oh, one last thing. While the Wi-Fi was free in the room, the speed of the free version was quite poor. However you were able to "purchase" a higher speed version - that to me was uncalled for and a cheap way by the hotel to make money off their guests. This is 2014 - provide free high speed Wi-Fi in the rooms without additional cost.

Staying close to an off-ramp of a highway is both a blessing and curse. If you find quiet, you are pleased. Our overnight stay at the Springhill Suites Washington, PA was a chosen stop and thankfully, the desk staff found a quieter room than initially offered. Although our jacuzzi room faced the car parking lot, it provided space, a small refrigerator, a sofa and the chance to find some relief from the "swishing" of highway car noise. Since I'm a light sleeper, the A/C offered a steady hum needed to deflect parking lot doors closing. This Marriott brand included a hot/cold breakfast which was well-stocked and tasty. Across from a Walmart plaza and other restaurants such as Cracker Barrel, those without a car could walk to these surroundings. However, be mindful of the active traffic as Trinity Point Drive is a busy road on an incline, and I didn't see sidewalks present.

Room Tip: Away from the highway noise.

I had to make a quick trip to SW PA. I took my son and we stayed at this hotel one night. We got a room with two queen beds and a sitting room. It's at a great location at the Murtland Avenue exit, surrounded by restaurants and shopping. Everyone was very friendly. The free breakfast was really good. Everything was spotlessly clean and the beds were comfortable.

Two minor things: Our room overlooked the highway and there was some highway noise throughout the night. You may want to ask for a room that doesn't face the highway if you are a light sleeper. Secondly, the room was arranged so that the TV was sort of in-between the bedroom and sitting area. It swivelled but it was still a little weird. I read a book after we got there, so it didn't really matter to me.

Overall, if you are looking for somewhere to stay in Washington, I would recommend this hotel.

I am on a long term assignment in Green, Washington, and Allegheny Counties, Pennsylvania (Pittsburgh metro area). I was looking for a property that was not right in the city but was still close enough to the project areas. While doing an online search I came across the Springhill Suites by Marriott in Washington, Pa. I have stayed at Marriott properties on past projects and this fit what I was looking for.

Jay Cruz, the property’s GM, keeps the property well maintained and attractive. The staff is one of the best I have come in contact with, very friendly and accommodating. The hotel does not have a restaurant or bar but nearby are several chains; Red Lobster, Texas Roadhouse, Outback, Olive Garden, Applebee’s, etc. There is a complimentary hot/ cold breakfast buffet each morning.

I was surprised at all that there is to do in the area during off duty hours, from a race track and casino, restaurants, county parks, public golf courses, and professional sporting venues. There are a variety of festivals and conventions every week. Most events are free or a nominal entrance fee.

The Pittsburgh International Airport is only 35 minutes away and interstate routes 70 and 79 are just minutes from the front door of the hotel. Access to and around this area is very easy. As with any larger city avoid the morning and evening rush hours when possible.

The property is pretty quiet so after a long work day it is nice to come back and relax. When you are in this area and looking for an extended stay property at the right price, I would recommend considering the Springhill Suites by Marriott in Washington, Pa.

Room Tip: Kid friendly, you want a room on the front of the building so you can get the full benefit od the ar...

This was a great hotel for a quick visit to PA. Quite a few options for dining near by, shopping and a quick trip into Pittsburgh if desired. Also very convenient on/off highway and well marked-not always the case!
The hotel is a little dated but the staff is excellent and all parts of the hotel were very clean and well maintained. The rooms are nice and spacious. The cable kept going in and out but that wasn't a property issue.
Good selection of breakfast items, free. Nice assortment of local papers available on the coffee table as well.

Stayed here 2 nights…very friendly staff from front desk to the cleaning staff…. Pool is kind of small but nice. Getting on the internet was also a little tricky but it does work nicely once you are on…can pay for faster internet but it is not necessary..free one works fine… tons of places to eat and shop right by the hotel. Little tricky getting to the hotel since it is on a hill and is surrounded with lots of other businesses also on a hill but once you get the hang of it is is fine… Walmart and Sam's club right close too…cheaper gas prices there!

Room Tip: We had a suite..it was plenty roomy for 3 adults and one child! Our room on the 3rd floor was super...
