I was a guest at this hotel for over two weeks & I loved the hotel & the stff. Everyone was always helpful & friendly. The gym is open 24 hours a day which was terrific for my crazy schedule. Business center was very handy. Morning coffee in the lobby was a treat. I will choose this location again. It is particularly handy to Bryn Mawr Hospital & Bryn Mawr Terrace rehab. Thank you for a pleasant stay at the Radnor Hotel!!

We have stayed several times at the Radnor while visiting our son's family in Haverford. Each visit we found our room well furnished, with above-average furniture and very comfortable beds. Housekeeping has been excellent, and the staff very attentive and professional. Meals at the Radnor's Glenmorgan restaurant have been very good.

Okay, so this hotel is perfectly fine. On check in, the desk person was ok, but not terribly friendly. For the high price, i expected more hospitality. they make you sign things about the fees you will pay if you have a disruptive party. This made me worry that there would be disruptive parties! The most distinguishing feature of the place was the weird smell. Some other people have mentioned this in reviews. guess what? I figured out what it is! The housekeepers spray that industrial "misty" odor masking spray all over the carpets. It's a weird smell and all our stuff smelled like this when we got home. Not a huge deal, but kind of annoying if you are sensitive to smells. There was no closet, just a wardrobe, so it was tough to hang our formal clothes up. The overall look of the rooms and public areas is dated and kind of frumpy. The Mattress was good. Over the weekend the hall was a bit loud with partying folks coming and going.
Sunday brunch was an incredible mega buffet! Other meals were fine but nothing special. The bar is lively.
A bright note was how nice the housekeepers were!
Overall, this place was fine and pricey. If you need to be in this location, this is a good bet.

Room Tip: Face onto courtyard for better view.

This hotel is located in an amazing part of Philadelphia on the main line. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. The beds were comfortable and the people are friendly and helpful. I only stayed one night but used the gym which is well equipped with quality workout gear. They have a very nice restaurant and bar in the hotel with a great bartender. Restaurant was ok, had crab cakes and a side salad, but it was nothing special. The only downside I can see to this hotel is the noise which is usually standard to all hotels I have stayed at. They also could use a little place you could buy a simple soda or something to have in your room. (there is a grocery store across the street though if you want something). All in all a nice place to stay when you are in the area..

Room Tip: Choose an upper level room if possible. If people are staying in rooms above you will hear them.

The Radnor Hotel is a slightly better than average hotel with a much better than average bar and restaurant called the Glenmorgan. Rooms are about the size of any decent hotel. Service is efficient and courteous. The place is clean. The beds are comfortable. Check-in and Check-out are easy. There is a small business center with a printer and two actual computers that plug into the wall. Internet access is free. WiFi is available in all rooms and all parts of the facility. There is an ATM at a bank that shares the driveway with the Radnor. The place is on a main thoroughfare on the splendid Main Line west of Philadelphia across the street from a shopping mall. Folks eat well on the Main Line and the Wayne version of the Legendary Susanna Foo Chinese Restaurant is within walking distance. Fleming's Steakhouse (Good) is also a walk away. The fine upscale restaurant at the Wayne Hotel is a short drive as are movie houses and other really good restaurants. So while you will probably be content to dine at Glenmorgan within the hotel, you have lots of other great options. There is a small exercise room as well with the usual equipment.Value is really good. It cost us $139 a night, best available rate that night for seniors.

Room Tip: Always as for best available rate.
