“Great Valentine's Day Weekend”
Reviewed 21 February 2014

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Paramour Restaurant Valentine’s Day weekend. Although we are local Philadelphia residents, we are always looking for unique and fabulous culinary opportunities coupled with engaging and entertaining social interaction and the staff of the Wayne Hotel and Paramour Restaurant anticipated our every desire and exceeded every expectation.

From the moment we were warmly greeted at the registration desk of the Wayne Hotel, we knew we were in a place where quality and great service were valued. Later we were warmly greeted by Joseph, the general manager and staff at the Paramour Restaurant for our 8:30 pm dinner reservation and we were promptly ushered to our table where Kelvin attended to our every need, making our Valentine’s Day dinner memorable. We also appreciated the level of care by management, being visited by management during dinner to ensure we were pleased with our dining experience.

The following morning we were thankful the restaurant could accommodate us for brunch where we met Michael who continued with the same spirit of excellence. My wife shared with Michael her gluten sensitivity during an initial conversation. After placing her order, Michael unbeknownst to us reviewed her choice with the chef and determined her selection did have flour which could have caused her some discomfort. This level of caring and attention to detail is rarely witnessed in many dining establishments and the Paramour should be applauded for their efforts.

“New Years Day Brunch”
Reviewed 10 January 2014

Creative appetizers on the bar, make your own Bloody Mary and entrees with
a slight southern touch. Had a wonderful flatbread to start our meal. The chicken and waffles were a hit as were the shrimp and grits.

“New Years Eve prices on Christmas Eve”
Reviewed 26 December 2013 via mobile

We decided to try Paramour out for the 1st time.Over the years we had gone to the previous restaurant at the Wayne Hotel,Taquet.Unfortunately for us the new restaurant didn't measure up to the standard set by Taquet. The decor that was elegant, now was retro modern ,the food was overpriced and average at best.As for the New Years Eve prices, the restaurant offer a prefix" Special Christmas Eve" menu with very few selections at $65 per person which consisted of a four course meal , with small portions. The service was friendly, but somewhat slow. After our experience at Paramour we would have been better off staying at home and enjoying the ambience of our seasonly decorated home.

“Good food but quite loud”
Reviewed 29 November 2013 via mobile

We went there seeking a very nice dining experience. Were seated in dining area right off the bar. Noise from large group of bar patrons was horrific. Service was excellent and food was quite good.

“wonderful ambiance, a warm welcome and delicious food”
Reviewed 26 November 2013

Dinner with an old friend at Paramour was a delight. We were seated in one of the beautiful booths in the bar area, overlooking downtown Wayne. The service was pitch perfect and the food was terrific. The flatbread appetizer was a great starter and our seafood entrees were excellent. Yummy desserts too! Can't wait to come back in warmer weather to dine on the old-fashioned front porch.
