Nice atmosphere. Inexperienced, but friendly wait staff. Using an ipad to order needs to be stopped. Various waiters tried to deliver food to us that was for others. Food in general was disappointing for the cost. Calamari app was so bland, even with nice sauces. Out of four apps and dinners, only the short rib entree was something memorable. Perhaps it was a bad night.

While it turns out this is a chain, didn't seem like it. Great healthy menu with teriffic wine and beer listing. Service very friendly and extra fun ordering your meal at your table IPad. All in all, a fun, nice and tasty place for dinner. I'll go here again.

Loved my entree. Service was excellent. Shared the lava cake with my friend - just the right size to share.

Music was a bit loud for dinner hour, but will go back again soon.

I have eaten here twice in the past few months and both meals were consistently good. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, and manages to feel cozy while being a fairly good size. It was not crowded on either visit, one during a weekday and the most recent on a weekend. We love ordering from the tablets. With its Mediterranean and Moroccan influences, the food is a nice change of pace from other area offerings.

We recently had lunch at Carmel Cafe after a lovely visit to Chanticleer Gardens. What we ordered is more similar to what we'd have for dinner, not lunch, but we were hungry and wanted to explore the menu and we were not disappointed. It was also one of the more expensive lunches we've ever had but we knew we won;t be back to this part of the country for awhile (we live on the west coast) and didn't want to leave with any regrets and we have none.
We had the short rib/portobello flat bread, crab cakes, seared tuna and chocolate lava cakes as well as wine. We savored every bite.
