David gave us a tour of several unoccupied rooms- loved the themes in each. We were assigned the Wilderness room and slept under the stars!
Breakfast was exquisite.
David and Margaret were wonderful hosts.

We are definitely returning next year!

We have stayed at many B&Bs but none come close to the personal attention the owners, Margaret and David provided. From the minute you enter their Inn you are made feel truly welcome. The home is lovely and the breakfast is wonderful. You will want to return because you will have two new friends when you leave. The business world needs more people like Margaret and David.

This historic house is charmingly decorated, and every room has a theme. We stayed in the "Wilderness Room," a natural since its decor was very close to that of my bathroom, back home in California, with pinecone wallpaper borders, and decor of owls and moose, etc. Got a chance to see the Magnolia Room, which was also lovely. The rooms all have TV and internet. But do be aware that the old-fashioned transoms mean sound travels, so be aware of your fellow guests.

The entire house just welcomes you in, and similarly Margaret and Dave, and their dog. The breakfasts here are amazing, well-presented with elegance and napkin rings! Margaret might do a great quiche one morning, or maybe eggs benedict, and start you with a dish of fresh fruit and delicious coffee. They know all about the area, and are very helpful and well stocked with pamphlets on the local points of interest. We based out of the area to go to Gettysburg and Antietam, and to just explore the general area. They were very helpful and interested in our activities, and I enjoyed chatting with everyone who came to this unique B&B. Burgundy Lane is warm and welcoming and brings to Waynesboro lots of good old Southern hospitality.

About that, I can't say enough about Margaret and Dave! Not only is their house a delight to stay in, with its great decor and thoughtful amenities (glasses cleaning wipes?! marvelous!), but they make you feel like family. I can honestly say I have great new friends in Waynesboro and hope to be back again in the foreseeable future.

Room Tip: They are all great rooms! Pick the one with the decor that best suits your personality.

We spent 4 very enjoyable nights with Margaret and Dave. The room was completely comfortable and beautifully decorated. The breakfasts were SUPERB, and the visual presentation so attractive. Our hosts gave us excellent information as to a restaurant for dinner, and provided additional "cold packs" for one of us who had a painful knee. Look forward to returning whenever we are again in the area.

Room Tip: Saw several other rooms. All seem just fine.

This B&B is one of our favorites. Nestled in Waynesboro PA it is close to Gettysburg, Antietam, Amish Country and other historical attractions. It is also near enough the Appalachian Trail for hikers who want to enjoy a nice comfy bed and hot breakfast. Owners/Innkeepers David & Margaret ensure the rooms are comfy and clean plus serve a generous breakfast to start your day. Theey are really nice people and you will enjoy meeting them. I am sure you will also enjoy meeting the Corgi inn-dog named Sunny. We have been here 4 times to attend local family reunions and look forward to our next visit.

Owners/Innkeepers Dave & Margaret (and their friendly pup Sonny), make you feel right at home when you stay at Burgundy Lane. Well located on Waynesboro's main (but quiet) street, we stayed here for 2 nights and enjoyed it very much. Waynesboro is about 25 miles from Gettysburg, but significantly cheaper to stay in.

We stayed in the "Out of Africa" room, which is decorated with items Dave picked up in his travels. The room, whilst not large, is fine, clean and has access to the verandah at the rear. Free off street parking is also provided and it is only a short walk to a variety of restaurants etc.

Breakfast is excellent, and Margaret's fresh baked muffins are beautifully light & fluffy. Both Dave & Margaret are very happy to have a chat and provide recommendations of things to do & see nearby. They really do make you feel welcome. Personal touch well established, and nothing is too much trouble.

We enjoyed our stay at Burgundy Lane very much, and greatly appreciated their advice about our visit to the Gettysburg battlefield. The Visitor Center, film & diorama are a must see in Gettysburg. Don't miss them.
