“A Perfect Little Place”
Reviewed 11 July 2014

For starters, if you happen to be in a hurry or have a large group, then go somewhere else. The West End Market Cafe is a charming, little place that is best shared with a spouse or a small group of friends. If you stop by in the morning, the scent of fresh bacon and coffee will immediately greet you. My wife and I always get the cheeseburger sliders (even if it's breakfast - they are that good) and often share the egg sliders as well. Their salads and soups are fresh and organic. I love the nachos coated in melted muenster cheese. The food and coffee are delicious, however, the menu is small. Jenny - the owner - is delightful and always makes our young daughter feel special. The West End Market Cafe is one of the small gems of Wellsboro for those who have the time and patience to enjoy it.

“Very homey”
Reviewed 14 June 2014

This cafe was extremely charming and the two women working that day were very nice and helpful. It was nice to sit out on the front porch and eat our lunch. The food itself was just average, but the environment was what made it better than average overall.

“Quaint and Enjoyable with Very good food!”
Reviewed 29 April 2014

Our group of 5 stopped by on the last Sunday morning in April 2014 for breakfast. The place is tiny but well worth it if you get there before others find out about it. :) Their choices of coffees and specialty breakfast items was also limited but well worth it. We all tried most of the menu and were very pleased with the quality and prices. Glad we stopped in!

“Trendy and Healthy options”
Reviewed 5 March 2014

Offers gluten free and vegetarian options. All homemade breads, deserts and soups. Great atmosphere, but small. Offers indoor and outdoor seating in summer. The building itself has been a local market for over 100 years, so there is a lot of Wellsboro history there. Great for a quiet or intimate lunch with a friend or two.

“Homemade goodness”
Reviewed 30 July 2013

I had been wanting to try the West End Market Cafe for awhile but it was hard to catch it actually open - so be sure to check out the hours for breakfast and lunch only. I got the grilled chicken sliders and salad. I was glad to see homemade healthy options in such a quaint cozy space. Will be back to try more items on their interesting menu.
