This wonderful place is adjacent to Longwood Gardens, a must see, five minutes to the Brandywine River Museum and close to everything. We were upgraded to the Hackney room, a gorgeous room with super comfy king bed and fireplace, though we didn't use it since it was still summer. The owners are lovely and had no problem accommodating a gluten-free request for breakfast, making it delicious. The pool is actually spring fed, so the water is the perfect temperature and very soft water - very relaxing. We live in a city, so being able to open windows and hear crickets and birds and no traffic was especially wonderful.

I would highly recommend this B&B for anyone going to the Brandywine River Valley.

Room Tip: We didn't see any of the other rooms, but the Hackney is on their brochure, with yellow walls.. Beautiful.y

I was part of a group who held a meeting at the Inn. The setting is absolutely beautiful and the rooms were comfortable, clean, cozy and inviting. Our hosts were so accommodating and always ensured we were well taken care of with plenty of delicious food! It was a truly wonderful place to spend some time away from home! Thank you to Sandy, Lance and Samantha for making our meeting so wonderful.

Room Tip: I stayed in the larger suites and they were so beautifully decorated and quiet.

We were looking for a beautiful, romantic vacation. The Inn at Whitewing Farm is located in the beautiful Brandywine Valley. The place has a lovely pool, and pond. The owners (Sandy and Lance) and their daughter (Samantha) all greeted us. Our room was spacious with a kingsize bed and fireplace. The farm is VERY close to Longwood Gardens.

Room Tip: We had a beautiful king size bed, fireplace and tv. All rooms can be seen on line. All are quiet and none are in the main building.

A group of us arrived from several eastern states to stay for a few days for a work meeting. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating to our needs throughout our stay, the rooms were clean and lovely, and the food was delicious. And the rocky road brownies were to die for.

Room Tip: I only have experience with the Clydesdale room, but it is absolutely in the top 3 of all time (and I travel a lot).

Neil, Sandy and [daughter] Samantha are perfect hosts. From the time that you arrive to your departure, their intention is to cater to your needs. They offer a GREAT room where you have breakfast and may use at any other time for reading, relaxing, snacking, etc. [Incidentally, they also provide the drinks and snacks. Note - This room is the only place where Wi-Fi is available.]
Breakfasts are works of art! They also taste great, as well. The presentations may come "naturally" to people who have been in the restaurant and catering business but the fact that
they take the time and trouble to do it at their B&B is a credit to them.
It is a perfect area location - very quiet but close to anything that you want to do. [Also, it is about an hour from Lancaster, if outlet shopping is your pleasure.]
