Reviewed 5 November 2012

had 2 room suite. It was alot nicer than excpeted. Bed was very comfortable. Right next to superWalmart and down the road from the Gallery Mall. It was better than the Hampton Inn by far!! It was a better value and the bed was much firmer giving a better night sleep.

As a Choice Hotels Elite Platinum member stying on a points paid room, I expected much more. The room was located in the most difficult location on site, Everything was covered in a layer of dust, The cable connection was phiysicacally broken off and there was no remote control. I have stayed in better Econo Lodges.

Room Tip: Stay away from this one.

I will start by saying the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The towels were amazingly soft.
The TVs are very old but I am told they have new flatscreens ordered. The internet was good as long as your room is near the lobby.
THere is a Mexican restaurant, Guadalahara, attached to the hotel with very good food.
Overall, this hotel is a good value.

Room Tip: To insure good internet connection ask for a room near the lobby.

Due to flight delays, we did not arrive until 3am. Had we arrived earlier, we would have left to stay somewhere else. The where the doorbell should have been there were WIRES STICKING OUT OF THE DOORFRAME, next to it was a "stick on" wireless bell. We were buzzed in. While the counter attendant was nice, nothing else was.

We got to our room, there were holes in all of the walls where things might have been installed at one time, but were no longer there. The light in the bathroom was off...but strobed on and off like something out of a horror movie. Everything about this property was no better than 2nd rate.

It just didn't even really seem clean. Had I not been too exhausted to move, I would have walked out. Even though I used my "loyalty" points and got this as a "free" stay, I feel like I paid too much.

All you need is a room without holes in the walls, that's clean and has working fixtures, this was none of that.

Check out was a nightmare. We had to leave to go to a funeral and had to wait almost 15 minutes just for someone to come to the desk.

I'd stay anywhere but here next time we are in town.

Room Tip: Don't stay here

Price is right and rooms are OK for a night or two. This is an old Holiday Inn from the 60's converted to a Quality. Rooms show age but beds are sufficient. Breakfast is typical hot breakfast; not bad, nothing amazing. Near many restaurants, shopping, farmers markets. Just off I-83 on Market Street.

Arrived unannounced on evening of 7/21 and they had no problem finding me a room. Room with two full size beds overlooking pool was $89. Room was adequately clean and bedding reasonably comfortable. AC system worked very quickly and powerfully (although day was not a scorcher (about 84 degrees).) Toilet/shower area was minuscule and dingy, but not really dirty.

Although entry area near check-in desk has been recently refurbished, nothing else has been.Pool area was marraed by chipping, peeling paint, and sitting-deck was simply a disgrace. General exterior shows signs of prolonged neglect. A pathetic attempt at planting a few flowers just adds to the penny-shaving malaise.

Staff is reaonsnably friendly, though they are still struggling a bit with English as a second language (they seem to hail from somewhere in Estern Europe). Breakfast was barely adequate. Waffle machine, now pretty standard, worked OK, but the only other options were rolls and cereals and some cold hard boiled egges. No bacon, saugage or fried/scrambled eggs. Juice was obviously the cheapest variety of reconstituted frozen (or powdered) type. They pinch pennies so hard here they scream.

On the other hand, it was very close to my destination, easy to find, and more importantly, has a nice Mexican resturant attached (with a bar), which stays open until 10 pm. For me, that was a super convenience, and made up for a lot of mediocrity.

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking pool. The others are too grim.

I was on a bus trip through an agency that sponsors trips for special needs individuals for four nights in July 2012. I travel frequently and have stayed in some really nice hotels. They were not all five star but they were all CLEAN!!!. This hotel was dirty. The windows, doors, curtains, carpets and tub in my room were dirty. The room had an odor and some of the towels were dingy. Some of the walkways were even dirty. I knew this hotel had issues when I arrived because of the poor landscaping. The AC in my room worked well but the cable kept going out. As I walked to my room, I saw the dirty windows, doors and curtains of the other rooms along the way. If you want a quality hotel to stay in, this is not the hotel to choose.

Room Tip: Choose another hotel
