I can't say enough about what a great place Lady Linden was. The hosts are very gracious, the place is immaculately restored to its 1887 looks, and the breakfast was amazing. The morning light coming in through the parlor windows was an additional bonus. It's easy to find, great restaurants close by, and VERY accommodating hosts. They have researched fascinating history of the house and its first owners, even acquiring some farm implements manufactured by the original owner. Jean has a beautiful garden outside, a place of quiet respite. While we don't live too far, we had never explored the city of York, and found much to commend it: a great city market, lots of neat artist studio/shops, and much history.

First time staying in B&B's. We were a little apprehensive. "wow" were we blown away with Jim and Jean!! We truly felt like we were welcome and at home. The meals, the attention to our comfort and just the friendship we made with them was truly amazing.
Highly recommended if you want to see the Amish country and is a very central point to make great day trips out into the country.
We would recommend Lady Linden to our family and friends in a heart beat!!!!

Lady Linden is an absolutely wonderful B&B in every way. The Grecian Room we occupied was just lovely- beautifully decorated, extremely clean and comfortable, with many amenities included, like lush towels and terry robes, a very comfortable bed and furniture, and a nice selection of books to read, which is great, since there's no TV (which we didn't miss at all!). The Victorian style house was amazingly and lovingly restored by the owners and hosts, Jim and Jean Leaman, who were excellent guides to local sights and attentive to our every need. As an added bonus, Jim gave us a wonderful architectural tour of the neighborhood's homes, which are historically quite interesting. Breakfast was delicious and beautifully served. The home is located at an easy distance from Gettysburg, which provided us with a full day of sightseeing, and there would have been more to see in York, especially in connection with the York County Heritage Trust museums, had we had more time. We strongly recommend this lovely B&B as a terrific place for a relaxing getaway.

We visited The US in order to see where our daughter spend her High School year. We stayed for 9 nights at Lady Linden Jim en Jean made it complete with a indeed delicious breakfast every morning and a very pleasant conversation( because we like this as well) and a great interest from Jim how things are organised in Holland. The house is beautifull restored but according to us, the warmth and interest by Jean en Jim, together with the delicious breakfast (sometimes accompanied with our daughter, without any problem to Jean) made our stay in the US just great. If you are in the neighbourhood of York we HIGHLY recomment Jim and Jean's Lady Linden!!!

The Lady Linden is a charming bed & breakfast, conveniently located in York, PA. The two owners are wonderfully friendly and are happy to tell you all about the house and the surrounding area. It was perfectly located for day trips to Gettysburg and Lancaster and downtown York offers cute cafes and galleries. Breakfast was spectacular and you will never leave hungry. We highly recommend this B&B.

Jim and Jean are the delightful and friendly owners of this wonderful Bed and Breakfast. They were as attentive to the details of our needs as they were to the restoration of the gorgeous victorian home. I highly recommend this B & B to anyone for a pleasant escape or a romantic weekend. www.ladylindenbedandbreakfast.com
