Our first time staying in a B&B in this country. Lady Linden competes with the best. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the large windows let in plenty of light. We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast in the company of the owner and engaged in an enlightening conversation of local history and architecture. We look forward to returning in the future and again having another fabulous visit.

We were so impressed with the attentive service, the welcoming atmosphere, the room was beautiful! Robes hanging in the closet, large bathroom, incredibly delicious breakfast and wonderful hosts. Jean and Jim, what more could anyone ask for? Without a doubt our favorite bed and breakfast yet! Looking forward to next year's York Toy Extravaganza, and another visit to Lady Linden.

We highly recommend this beautiful B&B - take a look at the photo album of the house restoration; you won't believe the work that has been done! Staying here felt like staying with old friends or long-lost family. The rooms were luxuious and comfortable and we slept so well. We appreciated the Victorian bath too!
A fantastic place - York is a great base for a trip to this part of Pennsylvania and has a lot of historical interest itself.

I can't say enough about what a great place Lady Linden was. The hosts are very gracious, the place is immaculately restored to its 1887 looks, and the breakfast was amazing. The morning light coming in through the parlor windows was an additional bonus. It's easy to find, great restaurants close by, and VERY accommodating hosts. They have researched fascinating history of the house and its first owners, even acquiring some farm implements manufactured by the original owner. Jean has a beautiful garden outside, a place of quiet respite. While we don't live too far, we had never explored the city of York, and found much to commend it: a great city market, lots of neat artist studio/shops, and much history.

First time staying in B&B's. We were a little apprehensive. "wow" were we blown away with Jim and Jean!! We truly felt like we were welcome and at home. The meals, the attention to our comfort and just the friendship we made with them was truly amazing.
Highly recommended if you want to see the Amish country and is a very central point to make great day trips out into the country.
We would recommend Lady Linden to our family and friends in a heart beat!!!!

Lady Linden is an absolutely wonderful B&B in every way. The Grecian Room we occupied was just lovely- beautifully decorated, extremely clean and comfortable, with many amenities included, like lush towels and terry robes, a very comfortable bed and furniture, and a nice selection of books to read, which is great, since there's no TV (which we didn't miss at all!). The Victorian style house was amazingly and lovingly restored by the owners and hosts, Jim and Jean Leaman, who were excellent guides to local sights and attentive to our every need. As an added bonus, Jim gave us a wonderful architectural tour of the neighborhood's homes, which are historically quite interesting. Breakfast was delicious and beautifully served. The home is located at an easy distance from Gettysburg, which provided us with a full day of sightseeing, and there would have been more to see in York, especially in connection with the York County Heritage Trust museums, had we had more time. We strongly recommend this lovely B&B as a terrific place for a relaxing getaway.
