Let me start off by saying the hotel itself is great, very modern and clean. However, we've been dealing with the management since we originally booked our room and were double charged. That double charge was eventually taken care of. We check out knowing that there would be a $134 "hold" on our card. Check my bank and there is also a $94 charge on top of the $134 charge. Call the hotel back and they insist they would take care of it. Check my bank this morning and the two charges are gone BUT there is a new charge of $228!!! Call the hotel this morning and of course there is no manager on duty to help. I am beyond irritated at this point. Please make sure you check your bank/credit card statements!

We stayed @ this hotel because we were in town for a family wedding. We already had a reservation for Saturday, but called three weeks prior to get one for Friday as well. Arrived & were told we had no room for Saurday night even though those reservations were made first. I gave both confirmation numbers, but manager "D" (rudest woman I ever met) insisted she couldn't find it. After many angry words & a call to the 1-800 number for customer service, everything was fixed....or so we thought. "D" decided to go another few rounds & tell us we had to check out and leave our luggage in the lobby while our cousin got married & MAYBE she would have another room when we came back. I told her to look at the notations on my account, and she still gave me a difficult time. Eventually someone else looked at it, the notation to leave us in our room another night was there. That lady certainly should not have a job in customer service, as she lacks the ability to relate to people and is extremely rude.

Warm welcoming staff, large clean comfortable room. The beds and pillows were the best I have ever slept in (including my own).

Would stay at a Holiday Inn Express anytime. Only thing that could be improved is the grout in the bathtub needs to be cleaned/replaced.

It was just as you would expect, clean, friendly, nice rooms. Dog friendly....which is why we stay at the HIE. Breakfast is ok.......if you like green bananas and cinnamon buns! Coffee was good. Very quiet, room clean and bed was just right for a good nights sleep.

We stayed a total of 4 nights. This hotel was central to the places we wanted to visit: Gettysburg, Hershey, and Lancaster. We arrived a little after 3pm (check-in time) but our room wasnt ready. By the time we emptied the car and went back in...it was ready. Our room was clean, a good size, with modern decor, microwave and mini fridge. The pillowtop beds were VERY comfortable and the room was quiet! One minor problem was only one elevator...luckily they only have 3 floors so stairs weren't unbearable. Our first morning (Sunday), most of the breakfast containers were empty...the staff couldn't keep up. The next few mornings were ok but I still wasn't impressed. Why would you serve an omlet with a spicey mystery sauce...what child, let alone adult, is going to eat that? Only 1 of the 4 mornings had cheese in it. If you're serving to a crowd, keep the eggs simple so everyone can enjoy! All in all (besides the breakfast) I would strongly suggest this hotel!
