While my parents and I enjoyed our meals, they weren't overly spectacular in anyway. I will say that the house salad you get with your entree is fantastic. Large, fresh and gorgeous with shaved parmesan and spicy little croutons. This is coming from someone who usually believes salad is what your entree eats. I saw a lot of reviewers raving about the rolls. I would rather have a crusty Italian-style roll rather than a squishy doughball, but they weren't awful.
My mother & I had chicken marsala and we were offered either sun-dried tomato mac&cheese or whipped potatoes on the side. We went with the mac & cheese. Bad choice. Reheated mac&cheese is never a pretty thing. It was a greasy, but yet, dried up, glob of macaroni with no discernable cheese, just oil. I adore mac&cheese and I couldn't eat it. They should give up on it and chose something else to serve as a side because unless they make it fresh every day, that mac&cheese is going to suffer. How about the chicken marsala? It was okay. My father fared better with the whipped potatoes he got with his chicken dish. The tiramisu wasn't bad.
Our servers were very pleasant and we had no problem with the service. The wine pour is excellent for $4.50. The prices aren't bad for a nicer Italian restaurant, but I think I'll continue to try other places.
