From the outside, this hotel is amazing, towering over you as you stand in the street. When you walk into the lobby you are greeted with the feel of a truly historic place, straight out if an old black and white movie.
The staff at the from desk are courteous and very helpful.
The (slight) disappointment comes when entering your room. It is, well, dated. Striped wallpaper, floral linens, gaudy drapery and light fixtures not unlike what you may find at your great grandmothers house.
Despite the look of the room, the bed was quite comfortable and the climate control works well.
The only real COMPLAINT I have is with the noise from the other doors closing. They are extremely loud.
All in all, it's a reasonably priced hotel with a lot of interesting history. More
