We were looking for this Inn, specifically to enjoy the feeling of being back in the 1880's on Block Island. That's when this building was opened. The staff was very friendly and we found ourselves drawn to the outside bar on the veranda, which was practically the epitome of our extended weekend "on the Block". I ordered a specialty drink from their menu, my husband ordered his usual Patron on the rocks, and we then each selected a lunch item. Me? The beef tenderloin sandwich, and him, the Whitefish tacos. Both were excellent! I got a HUGE piece of very tender beef, cooked to perfection, however I had expected it to be sliced up. Since it was one piece, I was concerned that I was not going to look "girly" hunkering into this big piece of meat, but it bit off nicely. Loved it!
